New manager Mel Gingell believes persuading Simon Gray to stay with Toolstation Western League Premier Division club Corsham Town could signal an upturn in fortunes.
Gingell has been quick to act after being appointed manger recently and has also snapped up his sons Craig, a defender from Calne Town, and goalkeeper Nicholas who has moved back to Wiltshire from Lincolnshire and played for Eagle Bitter United Counties Leaguers Sleaford Town.
"Keeping Simon can show everyone there are better times ahead and I am feeling much more upbeat," said Gingell.
