raunds reserves 4 - 2 huntingdon town reserves
with huntingdon leading till the 82nd minutes the referee decides 2 give a penalty 2 raunds, i thought the rule was hand 2 ball, in this case it was ball 2 hand (absolutely no way of getting out of the way of it) so that made it 2-2, a few minutes later a raunds corner come over, bit of a scramble and a raunds player might has well have caught the ball and put the ball in the back of the net... ref "didnt see it" absolute joke! the 4th come with huntingdon deflated. but even raunds will say that huntingdon have a very good young squad because town battered raunds in the first half, just a shame the ref ruined a perfectly good game

you could have murdered us in the first 30 mins especially the big bloke up the front. second half we got back into the game and from where I was the 3rd and 4 th goals were scored fairly! 2nd goal penalty with your hands out as far as the player had them it looked very iffy!!!!!!!

Yes I was watching from the board room, therefore, from my elevated 'point of view' (ha,ha) it was a blatant handball and the ball did cross. Sorry me old fruit you weren't robbed, unlucky would be better. As coach61 said that big lad at front was a handful. I thought 4 nil at half time was on the cards.

2 be fair we should have been 4-0 up at half time, credit 2 raunds for never giving it! my opinion on the penalty is that it was iffy! my view on the 3rd (seeing as i was about 2 yards away from it) is that the lad did handball it! 4th goal was class!
ps... i played in that game if u havnt guessed

Is there still a drug problem in Huntingdon... Or is that market stall still selling those spectacles, you know, the rose tinted ones. I was at the game and didn't see a robbery, you got 2 goals fair play to you. But what else did their keeper have to do. You turned up with 11 players, who to be fair put up a fight for 20 minutes, and against the run of play got a couple of goals. When they scored for 2-1 in the 43rd minute your heads went down and you lost your shape and all hope. Maybe if Raunds had not scored then things might have been different. But they where fitter and better than Huntingdon and it was only a matter of time before they got back in the game. They played well for 25 minute of the first half then it was all Raunds, and the 2nd half was all one way traffic, did Huntingdon cross the half way line? Raunds manager must have known that this would happen because he subbed a great lad onto the left wing and took off the big lad up front who had huffed and puffed but not delivered the bacon. The penalty was justice for the one the ref missed 5 minutes before, for a foul in the box, but he was too busy trying to keep up with play after one of your players had commited an offence. I am sure you and yours would have been screaming at the ref if it had been in Raunds box. The goal from the corner was a well worked set piece, that opened you up and left the player who scored all on his own. The final goal was a real treat, turning your defender on the edge of the box, cutting inside another on the penalty spot, give the keeper the eyes and roof of the net ;D ;D ;D I am afraid old mate the best side won on the day, and that is an unbiased view.

i didnt say that the best team didnt win did i? i just felt a little agrieved my the penalty that was given against us that really shouldnt have been. 2 goals against the run of play??? we murdered u in the first half, wot was u saying about rose tinted specs! i just felt we deserved a little bit more out of the game, especially for the way we defended in the second half when u 2 be fair there was 1 team in it! so matey get off your high horse and stop getting personal

Not getting personal just expressing a view.
Or seeing it another way.
Of course your entitled to be a bit biased as a fan.
But I was looking at it from a different angle.
Lets see what the score is when they play you again.
As I said, you looked good for 20-25 mins but not better than your opposition, and the second half was very one sided.

The problem with a point of view from players who actually played the game is that because you are so wound up that you only see what you want to see. Sorry me fruit hand to ball clear as a bell. Nothing personel about it either, been there wore the T-shirt.

i wasnt talking about your comments being personal, they where aimed at supercoach the know it all! i do understand wot u say about a players point of view but i will still stand by that i think it wasnt a penalty! and all i can say about the 3rd was that i saw the handball, maybe u couldnt see because u was further away i was 5 yards maximumm, even heard some of the raunds players say it was a handball so... but was a good game and i really enjoyed playing in it, jus hope we can get a result against irchester! p.s we have a new striker so looking forward 2 our return fixture
