Thanks Lord B,
I'm busy with work, trying to help save Boston Utd and get fit again at the moment. Perhaps later in the season I may be in a position to help the Club (if wanted that is !).

sorry matty but being that i know you are now enjoying your retirement and boy i bet you're glad you are out of all this .....i didn't mention you not that you were'nt a great asset to the club. But hey you are a perfect example of why the committee at huntingdon are so so shortsighted ........why did they not see fit to ask someone such as yourself to go onto the committee and breathe some fresh air into it. Maybe they didn't think you would conform to their little social club up there ay. And in answer to Fred's question new committee well i think you only need to travel round the local pubs an clubs to get the answer to that one. OH BY THE WAY HAS ANYONE NOTICED HOW QUIET TOWNIE HAS GONE IN THIS DEBATE COME ON TOWNIE REVEAL YOURSELF sorry far to boring to start going back to last season

sorry no need to get personal on the clubs chairman as he is doing a good job and highly thought of in the club and in local football i know the club chairman and he would not get involved in club issues on this site
i also know townie and as stated before he is not a present member of the committee just a loyal supporter
so get your facts correct first before getting personal

Huntsrob sorry to correct you, I have met your chairman who as you say is doing a good job, but it doesnt mean he wouldnt look on this site or get involved.
nobody really knows who anybody is on this site, although they may give certain clues!!!!!

ooooh does anybody think like i do that maybe Hans is both Huntsrob and Townie seems like its hit a nerve. But no ones getting personal Hans just passionate and caring about Huntingdon Town and whats gone wrong so i dont know why you are taking it personally. Maybe you an the rest of your committee could channel as much energy into sorting out whats going on up there as you doing interacting on this site.

Despite the well known fact, outsiders will not prevail ( Jacko itis its known as) Town seem to be heading down the same slippery slope as Goddy did. Getting excited about being 5th in the league will not paper over the cracks, Paul might gun down Whitworths and Sleaford, but I can't see that getting him the same sainthood that Lingy has.
I'll leave you then to make what you will of this comment. Like i said Ostrich Syndrome thats not aimed at you personally but the committee in general

Managers need a chance to develop the vision they have for how they want their team to play football............unless your name is Les and you manage Charlton..........What is clear though, unless you build your teams with local talent regardless of age, you won't have a Club and the CLUB is what remains when the players have moved on.

Topplayer i think i can aswer that one for you. No they were not planted by the previous managers or his assistants but purely taken off their own backs .....such was the loyalty to Lingy. However i can tell you that several players did go to pre season training probably more out of curiosity than anything to see the new manager and were not given the best impression if they were not to sign for town. I.E told they were not welcome back if they didnt sign there an then......not that that hasnt changed now. In defence of Lingy he has shown his face at town on several occasions and still wishes them every success....hope that helps
