Way to go fred .......good to see someone else can read this thread with an open mind rather than thinking i'm out for blood ........ i wish i could say honestly you are welcome to those players but i'd be talking crap .......and it also seems that town are being laughed at with the attitude of letting quality young talent go so easy. Not sure even the administartors noticed it was me who started the thread of 2 young players going to peterborough .......thats progression and something town SHOULD be proud of
Good luck with the PROGRESSION at st neots though and i sincerely hope those youngsters do you proud ........they are good players and i for one was sad to see them go. I sincerely hope the committee do read this and wake up and realise there are people out there who do care.

All committee's need refreshing from time to time whilst retaining some experience of the past. if Whitworths had not sat still for so many years they would not be chasing the clock to retain status today

totally agree with you on that one JJ it would be good to see some new young blood on the committee at town ......no ones asking for them to step down themselves but just open up the social club to some new members an then maybe town will move forward after all i think everyone agrees locally they certainly have great potential up there. they could and should be up there with st neots and st ives in the prem given the right people to take them there .......by the way ian nice to see you've come round a bit

Don't want to enter the fray too much as its not my club, but, I would ask the chairman and committee to consider two similar sounding words. Constructive and destructive. If you are constructive you can go forward, add some fresh blood to your committee would be a good start, especially as you have changed just about everything else ( managers, plyers etc). New blood usually means new ideas. Then there's destructive, which reading the threads, seems to be a path that you are on at the moment. Leaving everything as it is means you have your head buried in the sand. That will only fester the problems you have at the moment. My last recommendation is to invite Lord B ( I believe he is amongst you) to a meeting to thrash out his problems, that way you could sort out all the irritation and poison in house and not squirm at your dirty washing being aired on this site. Whatever your decision you must act quickly, because losing quality players as quickly as you are, is similar to losing blood in an operation. Dangerous

Sounds like someone needs to pick up the phone to me and draw a line under the past. Then all move forward together ;D
