huntingdon town 1-4 pboro sports
county cup champions pboro sports boss this one all the way it has to be said.
psl were 2 nil up inside 20 mins, hunts then pulled 1 back, psl increased their lead by half time 1-3,
2nd half there was no improvement by hunts and psl added a 4th, but for the hunts keeper it could have been far worse as he made a number of good stops.
has to be said that hunts did have a few players missing, but i can assure you so did psl 6 of the league and cup winning side were either working or on their holidays

Deeping Rangers 2-0 Peterborough Sports
deeping were the better side in the 1st half it has to be said, but we feel that 0-0 at halftime would have been fair, deeping scored from a corner that clearly to all except the ref (lol) looked a goal kick. while the psl skipper was moaning to the ref instead of sorting his defence deeping took a quick short corner swung it into the box for a tap in.
2nd half psl totally bossed it, limiting deeping to 2 chances compare to the several we had, we even missed an open goal. then with 15 mins to go and against the run of play deeping scored from an unlucky deflected shot to make it 2-0.
so in the end we were fairly happy as we played well against the UCL premier division champions and were in no way outclassed.
hope to see some of you boys soon in the county cup. good luck to you all for the forth coming season. pboro sports f.c

St Ives 3 Hillingdon 1 Cracking performance against 2006 Vase Runners Up, pretty even game really. Scored after 4 mins (Thackray) but were lucky to still be one up at HT. Second half, fairly even again other than our two new strikers scoring excellent goals (Fielding, Liston-Clark). All looks promising for the upcoming season.

Other Friendly results for Newport Pagnell FC.
Newport Pagnell Reserves 2-1 Beltchley Town.
A good result for Newport with The swans getting the winner in the final minute. Both sides created some good chances, things were more or less even stevens and the result could of gone either way. Newport were slightly better with there passing as i thought Bletchley gave the ball away to easy. It was good to see a mixture of reserves and under 18s (average age of team 17 years old ish). The only first teamer was Ben Smith who came on half way through second half.
The final two games were away, both games i missed so cant comment on them.
Thrapston 2 v Newport Pagnell 2.
Rushden & Higham 2 Newport Pagnell 2.
