Brian Foley, Cogenhoe's groundsman has won the national award for the Step 5 & 6 Groundsman of the Year 2009 at the awards ceremony held at The FA's Groundsman of the Year awards ceremony at Windsor Racecourse on 10th September 2009.
A magnificent achievement for Cogenhoe & Hereward Teamwear United Counties League.
Well done Foe for all your hardwork.

Chuffed to bits for him and the club! Foe is a Cogenhoe legend! and a smashing bloke too! if ever there was ever a glowing example of a dedicated club man then Brian Foley is it. He does the pitch and more with such a quiet dignity through the good times and the not such good times…. without men like him where would football be…. Well done Foe! .
