Not a massive amount to tell you to be truthful but i will try. ;D All the first team squad have signed bar Two we are still waiting for one too make his mind up and another is trying his luck with Desbough its a step up and we wish him well. The club house is working well even turning a profit and the complements that have been coming back from friendly teams has been a huge boost. Changing facilities are nearly there just a few bits and bobs and they will be a tad more welcoming. unfortunately the ground side of things is hard to see were all the work has gone due to it being in such a poor state 8 weeks ago when we moved back home, but it is 100 times better than this but we still have a lot of work to do outside and a little rain would help. the atmosphere amongst the committee all age group manager's and players is the best i have seen in years there is a real feeling of we are at our home and there is pride amongst us all, hopefully we will see this on the pitch. Kev Fox has been busy with a new assistant and promoting the club around the scene. we actually have sponsors wanting to help us and asking what they can do to support us, we had 9 blokes from British gas up helping out this weekend. Predictions wise is hard to do a lot of the hard work was done last year by setting out our stall by saying we are going to give young local talent a shot and at the end of last season there were green shoots of this starting to pay off, we are in such a different position to this time last year i would like to think we could Finnish a nice comfortable mid table with the lads having another year of experience and may be bring another couple through. It doesn't sound very ambitious i know but if we carry on in the same vain for a few more seasons the club will be in a position to look beyond but with sustainability and not boom or bust, but its a long season and i hope we will surprise more than a few.

More Good news for a change.
Sue Neil Chairman of Burton Park Wanderers FC has just announced that the club has just secured the long term lease of latimer park.
This dose unfortunately come with the bad news that she is now retiring from this point on as chairman.
Sue has over seen the transformation of the club over the last Three years moving us from tenants on a weekly basis then homeless with one team to having our own ground and a merger with Burton youth so we now have over twenty teams playing for BPW and a bright future as one of the young up and coming teams within the UCL.
From all at BPW I would like to show my total respect for a welsh Bird who doesn't even like football for how she has transformed our club under her leadership.

Great news for the club and those who work so hard behind the scenes. Sue always said that she would know when her job was done and she has achieved what she set out to do. She is probably the only person on earth who could attempt to carry on with the amount of work she put in...
Grub was fantastic as well ;D
It is extremely pleasing to see how the club has flourished from such a perilous position into a club with promise.
Hopefully over the next couple of seasons, the club will be able to become a regular mid table side and still without paying players and playing and unearthing local talent instead.
I urge the people at the club to not settle for what they have achieved in the last year and push on. Ground improvements and mid table consistency has to be the target in the next couple of years.
Well Done to all who help at club none more so than Kenny, Sam an Sue ;D
