The fine 2010 following a very decent 2009 has seen PNS well represented in the Peterborough Sports Awards nominations as follows: -
Team of the Year Coach of the Year - Chris Plummer Sports Personality - Tommy Cooper Footballer of the Year - Josh Moreman Young Footballer of the Year - Jack Bloodworth & Andy Buckle Unsung Hero - Lawarence Derrante (Groundsman)
In the footballer category there were also nominations for Matt Heron, Lewis Stone, Robbie Pearce, Addie Staffieri and Dave Beeny from the UCL and Yaxley's Jeff Lenton was also put forward in the unsung hero and would be a worthy winner.
However local football in this area does not have a very good record in mobilising itself in these and has not won too much down the years, so we will content ourselves with being recognised to this level!
Anyone who wants to vote and does not get a copy of the Peterborough ET can text

The Footballer of the Year and Team of the Year, but think even Posh would struggle this year and I think the Speedway team have folded - would be nice for either Plums or 1 of the 2 16 year old lads to win theyoung player as I think they would have a chance - would appreciate any support chaps
