After a costly mistakes let the points slip away in the previous week, Whitworths beat a decent Eynesbury team 3-1 on Saturday. A free kick from Lee Purser, a one on one from Ben Holley and a magnificent chip from Matty Freeman gave the Flourmen the points. Recent signings Anthony Sharp (Raunds), Adam Randall (WTFC2004), Luke Raftery and Lee Baxter (Thrapston) all performed well. Youngsters James Mallows, Johnny Hazell and Jake Newman also contributed towards the cause. Eynesbury seemed to have a few ex-St Neots players and relied heavily on flicks and balls in the the frontmen. Gavin Batt scored their consolation. The return fixture is this Saturday but before that Whitworths entertain Sileby Rangers on Tuesday night....Good luck
