A few Diamonds fans have attempted to register on this site, but have been denied. Please can I ask you review/ reconsider this decision as you're creating the impression that this is an exclusive board to just a few people? If you're not going to allow these people (and one has put themselves up for election to our steering committee), then please can we have some kind of reason?

540 people is hardly exclusive. However I have 2 people waiting that's all. About 10 were approved last week, but only a couple were denied who had registered before.

Thanks for that Gav, it was merely an "impression" I got from our official website. Has Pigman been approved can you tell, now he's been elected to our committee? Haha he'll have to behave himself now he's an official ;D

Could we open up the registering a bit perhaps? The UCL facebook page is on the rise and we need to stop it !!!

Registering isn't the issue, it's the anonymous abuse that has always come from having an open forum that is. With facebook the anonymity isn't there and things tend to look after themselves, whereas on forums you have to do the moderating...
That said in this progressive age of listening to the fan base, I've creasted a free for all section where guests can post and ask to join, make comments etc.

Good idea... in the past an England sub forum for major champs has worked... would be happy to keep a Euro 2012 section going if it helps.
