We're all aware of the unfortunate situation Kings Lynn found themselves in this season, and now they've reformed as Lynn FC or something... Question is what league will they compete in?
Their desired league would be Ridgeons Prem, but there could be some issues there apparently, whereby they could end up in the Ridgeons Div 1. If that's the case, I believe they would like to join the UCL, in particular, the UCL Prem. My source tells me there would be a very good chance they would be accepted as well!
So, what would this mean? With Lynn potentially in the UCL Prem, Spalding all but there already, PNS a good certainty, there will be some competative teams to add to those already there. Out Peterborough way, competition for players is going to be high to say the least, with or without Lynn. PNS I'm sure will have a competative budget, Spalding's will probably remain the same (which by UCL levels would be high), interesting times ahead.
The biggest loser of all if Lynn do end up in the UCL would probably be St Neots... With Daventry gone, the league should be theirs next season given the budget and facilities. Lynn's attendances would dwarf the rest of the UCL, consequently their budget will dwarf all but possibly St Neots, they categorically want to attain promotion immediately. If there's only 1 promotion place available like this season...
I believe we could have a very competative UCL Prem next season, there could be some very interesting and exciting times ahead...

It certantly would make an interesting season. I hope Kings Lynn do op to Join the UCL. We do need more teams in the UCL especially in Div 1. Does anyone no of any teams joining the UCL Div 1 next season. Are Market Harborough or Lutterworth able to join this time? I heard a rumour that Ramsey Town want to join the UCL.

I don't think we'll be seeing Kings Lynn, from what I've read on their Web Site they prefer the ECL even if they have to start in Div 1.

Didn't Kings Lynn enter their reserve side into the league a few years ago?

Yes. The reserves joined Res Div 2 in 1999/2000. They were promoted to Res Div 1 for the following season, but withdrew half way through.
