Where to start? Its hard to talk about our squad because we dont know who the Manager is likely to be yet! Assuming its Pearce and not 'Arry we should see the majority of the squad for recent friendlies going to Ukraine. (EDIT - According to five live it will be Stuart Pearce picking both the England EURO2012 and Team GB Olympic team)www.thefa.com/England/TeamHere's my starting eleven Hart Cole A Terry Cahill Richards Parker Sturridge Lampard Barry Welbeck Young Ok so its not quite a 4-4-2 with Young playing off Welbeck and it has a solid rather than spectacular midfield... Best we have available?

An interesting post on Orange following the Norway-England game. 'K Brunsdon' suggests dropping Rooney, Terry, Lampard and Gerrard from the squad. He suggests that younger players should be given the chance, as they are the 'future'. He goes on to say that no one expects us to do well so 'nothing ventured, nothing gained'. Thoughts ??

the match was poor on Saturday wasn't it?
I expect Hodgson to get us more solid but I don't see the golden generation finally delivering.
The trouble is are Young, Wellbeck, Oxlade-Chamberlain etc. better than the players it is suggested are dropped?

The bookies were originally offering odds of 15/1 on England winning Euro 2012. After 'riding our luck' and amassing seven points, can we cause a major upset after all?
