Hope to see you at Yaxley, weather permitting! Yes, hopefully King's Lynn's last game in the UCL. Or maybe not if the latest internet rumour is true about Oxford City Nomads

Congrats to Kings Lynn on their promotion to isthmian league 1 north.

Paul Winston posted a link (which I can't get to work on here) under "Link to Where Kings Lynn will be playing next season"

Well I for one shall miss them and in honour of my experience with them I shall keep the speedway bit in my name, oh and raise my plastic glass on new year's day!! Lets hope they keep on the right track. But no doubt, and hope so too, old grisly chops will keep up the banter! so best wishes for the future from the drunks at Raunds ;D

Good riddance! No more whingeing, expectant, big-club charlies coming to our grounds and complaining about everything under the sun. Why did it take them two years to do it, massive budget, "massive support" (although we never witnessed it at our ground) massive egos and a regime that has not got a clue about running a "proper Football Club". No sour grapes at all and there are a "few" at the Walks that I wish all the best to, I just wish that a lot more respect was shown to the UCL and it's Clubs for taking them in when nobody else seemed to want to, I can see why now! So now it's up to the "Speedway Promoters" to take them to the next level and beyond, wonder if they'll be back in a few years when it's all gone tits up again!

No massive support at your ground Kevin, average gate of 97,when we were there it was 320 i believe, only 220 higher than average!

Yes but NOT all of those were from Kings Lynn. Think about it. We always get slightly higher gates in midweek on a Wednesday and we always get the ones that just love to see you beaten! However, we never managed to do that, although we did draw the first year and you won this year in our...."cow field" according to your "classy and respectful" manager that is. Was having a great day actually, down at the ground finishing the washing for another season, getting the pitch ready for it's summer refurbishment and then it just got so much better........Kings Lynn were promoted.....fantastic, all my prayers answered. Jog on!
