217 , good attendance , average is 50 at Cranwell. expected 150, we did 70 programmes and ran out at 6.15, only do 40 usually (still, they were free with entry)

I can assure you that you did not see me Mr Hughes as I came in disguise. What with the RAF being a government run agency I'm always nervous up at Cranwell, they're out to get me you see. I did however manage to sneak into town later and saw that a few of the players were still enjoying their celebrations long into the night. I even heard that you were dancing on a table with your top off but I don't know how true that is.

Well done to sleaford, they thoroughly deserve the title. We had 8 first teamers out on wednesday and ended up with Mel Landin starting up front and finishing on the left wing. Take nothing away from sleaford tho, great bunch of lads and we were well looked after when we went back for a drink, Great crowd as well.......

I am sure ianh and the rest of Sleaford Town would reply in the same way by wishing PNS all the best in your Final at Sixfields and we hope you manage to get your full strength team patched up in time - thanks for your comments PNS and glad you enjoyed the hospitality in Sleaford. ..... Oh the crowd (217) I think they came to see Mel Landin!!!

Sleaford must gain for their home matches but it can't be easy, having to travel substantial distances for away fixtures. Swings & roundabouts really. Evening away games must prove difficult for some players. Work commitments mean you're always likely to be missing a few. Whatever the pro's & con's of it they've done superbly well this season. Most of the fans, from other Div One sides I've spoken to, reckon they deserve the title. Congrat's to all at Sleaford.

Yup! Congratulations to Sleaford on winning the title. As a Wellingborough Town fan, I would suggest that you deserve it too. We were not too far behind you though, right down to the wire, good season for both our clubs eh?
