Well 12 games completed, 2nd in the table 2.5 pts a game, 3 goals a game average Only 2 games lost, 3-1 at Irchester where we scored first, then really just lost our discipline. and 2-1 at home to Wellingborough Town where again we scored first, a good game but although 1 man doesnt make a team, When Shaw's not playing we miss him. a Premier division scalp in the League cup, then for the next round, home to Ford Sports, if that hurdle is overcome, The clubs biggest game in recent years away at Yaxley in the quarter-finals. in the County Cup (senior B) we made hard work of overcoming Caistor Rovers and Ruston Sports to visit Horncastle Town in the Semi-Finals And last week winning 8-0, goals coming from 5 different players, a slightly higher than normal attendance and being down to 10 men for the last 15 minutes (due to a slight knock) It all looks good for 1st v 2nd this weekend down at Whitworths

The 2nd third of the season review (get it?) 24 games completed, 2nd in the table Just over 2 pts a game, 3 goals a game average Only 3 games lost, Last was 1-0 at Kempston, we can moan at bobbly pitch, having to leave at 5 for the trip, players missing, but we had enough chances in the League cup a Premier division team in Ford Sports, went to extra time, Ford Sports played well only to find out in the cranwell dressing room that they werent getting paid, if only they'd found out before the game in the County Cup (senior B) we made hard work of overcoming Horncastle Town in the Semi-Finals, but will meet LSS Lucarlys who we met in our Lincs League days and beat both times, but a different team now, riding high in the Central Midlands Premier And last week beating Whitworths 3-2, in front of our highest attendance at Cranwell (87) and finally getting the grants has to be the icing on the cake ;D Look forward to exciting times ahead

If the game against Whitworths had been at Boston Road the attendance would have easily been double that

I know to some it is a distant memory, but I never replied to Gooner The final third of the season review 34 games completed, Champions, 4 points clear Winning the UCL 1 Trophy The Lincolnshire Senior B Trophy and the Baker-Perkins highest scorers Trophy was magic Just under 2.5 pts a game, over 3 goals a game average Only 5 games lost, Our highest scorers tally was double his nearest rival in the division and a Manager of the month award at the end of the season in what turned out to be the last senior B County Cup final, we defeated LSS Lucarlys 2-1 who were easier opposition on the day, than either of our previous round opponents And finally beating (a weakened) Peterborough Northern Star 7-1, in front of our highest attendance at Cranwell (217) the only bad bit being the unfortunate circumstance with the delay to the ground and promotion I only hope we can keep it going ;D

How are you stacking up on the disciplinary front this season compared with last? I hear you had 5 - 6 booked as well as the guy sent off and that makes 4?? I thought Sleaford were a tough talented team but this seasons disciplinary position is starting to provide a different reflection. Your boys must have lots of money coz it isnt cheap these days.

How are you stacking up on the disciplinary front this season compared with last? We are on 4 sendings off now, the same as the whole of last year Not quite JJ the ref only cautioned 1 of ours that I know, The ref was quite lenient, perhaps because he could see Whitworths lads were quite clearly trying for oscars, but in all fairness after the first half hour when they realised they werent going to hoodwink the ref Whitworths did start to play football Am in no way condoning our disciplinary record, but it is comparable with other teams well if they are daft enough to commit the crime, they can pay the fine

10 games gone, 2nd in the table 22pts, as compared to 24 last year 1 game lost, 2 draws Lost 1-0 in the league cup to Potton, we missed Shaw or someone to fire the bullets, a good test, but I dont think Potton will finish 2nd again this year. Drew 3-3 against Whitworths, Football playing-wise there was really only one team going to win. Next big test comes against Deeping in the County Cup at the end of the month Horsewoods return is imminent, Shaws future is yet unknown, but Lunn is proving to fill his boots well at the moment. all is looking well (apart from minor indiscretions)

Good response Ian, I think your boys are taking advantage of the new disciplinary rules around sending offs being games instead of time. On a different matter do you have a reserves side? If so where do they play?

Play in the Boston league - Premier were promoted from Div one last year (Only losing one game - Lunn scored 18 for them) and are about midtable this year, Boston Saturday League

20 games gone, 2nd in the table 47pts, as compared to 42 last year 1 game lost, 5 draws the game against Deeping in the County Cup was lost 2-1 after extra time, with a few key players out, a good result considering not many have held Deeping at 90 mins this season Shaws return to full fitness is still awaited, Jason Sedlan is currently top scorer. the ground is looking well (opening soon) for premiership football next year. This weekend at Whitworths, is what it all boils down to, a win would leave us 2 points behind and still not relinquishing a grip on the Championship Trophy, a draw would leave a seemingly unassailable 5 point gap and a loss is not worth contemplating.
