Noticed that Jamie Shaw hasnt appeared for Sleaford this season, is he injured?? Great goal getter, if its long term may hurt sleafords chances of retaining their title.

Dont actually know what he has wrong with him, but, when we over there a couple of weeks ago, heard that he wont be back till christmas atleast!? But as they say, "one man dont make a team" and with the squad they have, they will be there or there abouts come the end of the season.

I got myself in to troublw with some of the Sleaford lads on this one. I had heard that he had fallen out with the club over the fact that he felt his talents deserved paying. I was told in no uncertain terms that this wasn't the case and that he has an "illness" although no further information was given. I'm not sure what to make of it and imagine there is probably more to it than meets the eye. I also stated that I thought he was vastly overrated by the Sleaford followers, which didn't go down very well either. I stand by my opinion that he doesn't offer much more than his goals ( not the best all round game ) but if he is indeed ill i wish him a speedy recovery. Sleaford will still be there or thereabouts but I personally think 3rd behind Kempston and Whitworths.

Not looking like 3rd now is it Mr Geronimo. Maybe despite his lack of "all round game" Mr shaw is coming back at just the right time. Just incidentally, on a goals per game ratio how many strikers can be beat our Jamie's record at this level? Does anyone know?
