I would lay odds KP that Joe doesnt. Incidentally which 2 players have left Raunds to join Solly at Irchester? Are they reserve players?

im predicting a whitworths win, have a good team spirit and raunds are getting very full of themselves Unlike our friend, trench coated Berty bigones, we are being tongue in cheek about this, not getting very full of ourselves. If you read it right you would, well might, well probably not at all, realise........ whats the point? You carry on we tear you down nothing like a challenge, nothing like a bit of trench warfare to liven things up around here! I sure the Raunds troop will go the over the top to win tonight! ps The pitch is bit muddy like the Somme

So What happened to the Special one and his troopers. I see lowly Whitworths spiked your bubble. Well at least you wont have to bow and scape any more Skip.

Yeah well I think the reference to the Somme was just asking for it. A battle plenty of blood and guts and a stalemate at the end. Whitsworths were a very strong side caused us loads of problems, but we countered and defended well. The referee was busy, but did well. I think a fair result in my opinion. No I can't bow down to his worshipfulness cause I've done me back moving a fecking caravan on Sunday. ouch!!!!
yes I said fecking not ******* ;D ;D

I believe I correctly predicted NO 1st teamers in reserves last night for Whitworths who did very well. Not sure if a draw was a fair result but "The special one" did a great job in resurrecting a draw. Is it correct (I was not there) that Symington, Tanner, Armstrong, Russell and Freeman played last night and are these boys 1st teamers at Kiln Park? If so, then I would suggest not a great result for your boys

Whitworths were unfortunate to come away with just a point. Carlton Elwood was unlucky with several good half chances and took his goal well from the keeper's huge kick. Whitworths defence looked strong and kept Raunds first team striker quiet. Other first teamers were introduced during the evening but had little effect. Encouraging signs for Joe's second string

Lets correct this Tanner came back after 2 mths of not playing therefore, in the reserves for the match fitness he found out he didn't have playing in the last first team game. Similarly for Ben Armstrong, Michael Freeman and Ian Symington both recovering from injury. Jamie Russell has been rested for a while and again played last night to return to match fitness. Yes your keeper had a big kick and virtually all your attacking football was a result of a long ball. I still believe the result was a fair, one either side had plenty of opportunaties to steal it. If Andy had played his normal youngsters then they would have been kicked off the park, Whitworths were very strong.

So he if he "left out his normal youngsters" those 1st teamers did play then! Why did these "recovering" players not play for the Raunds Res side last Saturday? It was a typical local UCL derby, fast, furious and competitive with chances at both ends, but I feel it may have meant a little bit more to Raunds to win (hence the 1st teamers inclusion) I think the comment "kicked off the park" is way off the mark as well.

Figo, maybe they didnt play last saturday because they were unavailable, maybe still injured or god forbid they might have a life outside of football! and anyway why is it seen as a negative towards whitworths... surely with the progress they are hoping to make into the prem they should want to see how they fair against some of the recovering players from that level... just a thought!

Yes watcher they are Dan Turricki and Marcus Wharton and we wish them well at Irchy.
The reserves are there for supporting first team players recovering and developing the up and coming youngsters, its called youth progression Figo!
I hope that clears that up!
