Which ucl club has pulled off getting the biggest club to play a pre - season game , and what do you think the biggest crowd could be before the season starts ? Could there be a bigger crowd at a game pre season than in the WHOLE of the actual season ?

Hope that the WT v Whitworth pre season friendly brings in a few though I would expect Sleaford v Sheff Utd to be the big one

Newport have the best lineup of friendlies i have seen for a while. Cambridge City at home might bring a good crowd. Metropolitan Police and Dustable Town are a divsion or 2 higher so also could bring a good crowd. Also Newport have the annual friendly with MK Dons which has brought 800 - 1200 fans each season (i know thats hard to believe). The best Friendly fixture has to be Sleaford vs Sheffield Utd. Will Utd play a full sqaud of first teamers? I bet the Sleaford players cant wait for the game!

Sleaford are on record a good team and with a new ground to bring a good squad like utd is good for the town, will they bring first teamers possible they would bring alot of youth and ressies but a couple off first that have had injuries and need games. i will be there as well as being there for a good number off years and i wish both clubs the best and everyone else

Ground all ready at Sleaford. Expecting a reasonable crowd for the Sheffield Utd game on 8th August 7.30pm KO. Entrance £4 adults / £2 Concessions. Look forward to seeing the SS & son there amongst others! 1st Game on pitch was an over 35's Charity game Manager's X1 (Brian Rowland) v Presidents X1 (Dave Kelby) - seen leading their teams out above on Cup final day 19th May. - Great Day - honourable 4-4 draw and plenty of beer in the bar after!
