Espanyol,
I totally disagree with that comment, there are a lot of loyal lads playing football in the UCL and other leagues that have turned down offers to move for more money. For a start look at PNS, Paul Hill one of the best center backs I have played with and against. I know for a fact Paul could of still been playing at a higher level for more money, also with the new siginings in Mark Paul Edge etc, Tommy would of not blown his budget on them and they will be playing for less this year I am sure of that, all they want is to play in a successfull side and do well, which I am sure PNS wil have this year. They are a few to mention just in PNS side i could name at least 20 other players who have done the same in the UCL Prem.
Tommy good luck this season and all the very best. Top bloke. When you going to ring me for that game of Golf too Tommy, I will take the money off you on the course then lol.

Golf suffering a bit this year - combination of launching own business and being terminally crap - goldenoldie if the clue is in the name, then I have an inkling who you might be and as such would not go near you on a golf course - might have to put my plus 2 club pro brother up against you!
Just back from Vienna and watched the 2 QF's there (Croatia v Turkey & Spain v Italy) what a couple of turkey's they were! took the missus last night and see enjoyed the atmosphere, and seemed to have a bit of a thing for Torres - he may be a little out of our league (maybe)!

Very pleased with the 0-0 result against Deeping, particularly as we did not look out of place against their full strength side minus Matson and deserved to be in front at half-time.
Bit of a shame that I have 6 unavailable for Saturday's trip to Wisbech, though we will still be turning out a decent side.

Looking forward to welcioming you to Sleaford next week, should be a good tight game, both sides strengthening from last season so i imagine there will be little in it

4-1 win at Wisbech Town yesterday in a strange game. Went 1-0 down after 17 minutes and were truly dreadful for first quarter of game. Slowly worked our way back in and absolutely caned them 2nd half. Mark Paul hat-trick and Karl Gibbs the scorers.
Reserves started with an 8-0 win over Yaxley counterparts.

The fringe players had a chance to shine tonight against a useful, though not outstanding Baldock Town side, but did not grasp it as the side slipped to a 2-1 defeat. Alan Haine was the PNS goalscorer

Very pleased with the 2 victories at Sleaford yesterday, 3-1 for the reserves and 1-0 for the first team - travelled with only 23 players due in the main to a wedding, so a couple of players did a double shift.
Downside was Ali Nyang's sending off with 20 minutes to go (which in a league game would have been deserved) - I was frantically trying to get the ref's attention in order to take him off, but he explained afterwards that there has been clear instructions given on treatment of friendlies which is absolute madness (including rolling subs) - clubs will have to start being very careful in the selction of ref's for friendlies in future.

Friendly or no friendly would you have been happy if a Sleaford lad had done that ? I thought the ref had no choice
