Well ive built up an army of contacts over the years far and wide at all levels . It helps that my son plays ucl football . Why do you ask ?

Just askng mate as I said in an earlier post I know the Desborough manager well and I also have loads of contacts which I get alot of info from.

Depends on wot club he is at !!! Have my sources over hunts way and desboro region . Young is thinking over an offer from desboro . My sources of information r always 2nd to none

It all hinges on whether desb can match DY ambition , if they can convince him of that then they have a chance of surpassing noble and leech . Im not a mega fan of Dy footballing abilities but hes well organized , committed and minted !!! and he ups the standards in how players are treated no doubt . I think he is good for the game and is a ' new age manager ' in terms of not ever played any sort of a level or been tactically brilliant but bringing more of an astute bizness mind 2 the game with excellent organization and P R

Writing as someone DIRECTLY involved,due to some personal circumstances,there is a slight delay to completing the initial interests at Desborough. It is hoped a decision will be made with an announcement formally by mid-week. However,contrary to speculation at this point in time, Sunday evening, no-one has been offered the position. All applicants will be informed in the next couple of days-and I will not comment on who applied,other than to say we are delighted with the high standard of all interested parties and this reflects on their aims as well as those at Desborough Town Football Club.

Gazza - thank you for your comments above and ref to my abilities - ye as a manager you are always growing and learning but most of all watching and listening - which is what I have been doing for the past several years around some very good people, ye Im doing my badges just like the next person and enjoying every minute of managing football - as for the minted comments - you are way off Im afraid - with ref to looking after players, I think that is one of the most important parts of the game and management, respecting your players and having a bit of fun on the way

With ref to the desborough position - its flatering to be liked to any prem job position however Im am at present busy organizing a 1.5k deal for fertilizer to be donated for my pitch at Huntington, finalizing the players we want - which is now completed and getting preseason underway
