I'd genuinely like to know what the club is about. I've had a look around the website to have a nose and it's not up to date. The Chairman asking for people to get in touch about the Managers job has no number on the site and is different to the one named.

The website and a forum are now up and running. Join up for a bit of banter!! There are also other new items on the site itself including updated news sections, recent match reports and anything that's happening at the club in general. The club has some great plans in place and certainly appears to be very ambitious with its intentions.

No sticks from our side of the fence. Nice try Rosyjim, but you'll get no rise from Whitworths at all. There is a reason for your warning rate you know!! Try being constructive for a change. We might take your posts more seriously then.

You should join our forum, we could have some good banter Rosyjim!!
It's funny what you say about the sticks though. Last night, three of our lads jumped the fence to steal the ball that Danny Spaughton was warming up with. They're not exactly the SAS our lads, but it was funny to watch and Spaughty took it well!! Not so sure about Foxy though. (Sixtiesmod, we did give the ball back, honest!)

Watched Whitworths v Rushden & Higham the other day, overall I thought the result was just about fair but R&H maybe should have gone in 3-1, 4-1 or even 5-1 up at halftime and that would have been it. Whitworths come back better in the 2nd half but never really created a clear chance or tested the R&H keeper.
imo Whitworths will finish mid-table at best, they look a shadow of the side from a few years ago, not as organised, not as fit, not as much drive or passion, just not as good; but Rome was not built in a day so it will take time for the new manager to put his own stamp on it. It was only 5/10 for me, not nearly good enough for a side saying they are moving forward and want promotion, based on this showing they would definatley struggle in the prem.
Just my opinon, good luck to them though.
