I hear all this talk about who could do this and who could do that at whitwoths, naming no names, but is there anyone out there who could really do a job at whitworths with no money but a lot of good local talent. Come on, put your money where your mouth is.

think the guys in chrge now are good enough, we had the ball over the line twice and hit the woodwork 3 times and ended up nearly losing!! have to say from my side of the fence we were better then whitworth's but they had plenty to cheer about in their performance. good luck to you.
would have been nice if someone from whitworths stayed for a drink after the game. is it so bad at eynesbury that you all had to do a sharp exit?
couldn't have been to see the england game as it would have been half time ny time you got home?

i was gutted by that drunken fool, he had a big part in whitworth's 2nd goal. as he was verbally attacking stanton when whits took a quick free kick passing to santon's marker who crossed the ball for the goal. what was the ref doing??? surely he could see staton was being threatened. madness!!!, added to it, that pratt lives locally but was not an eynesbury follower

Id do it - no questions - hear that whitworths are keen to bring youngsters in to the game, sounds good to me....looks like whitworths are looking at long term ambitions which is a good thing....

I think the last manager tried that and it got him the sack. Seems like a decent club though, nice facilities, big pitch and quite a good catchment area. Does anyone know if they have a new manager yet?
As far as drunken fools go, I thought you were on about the ref!

To clarify several rumours, nope, I am not going back. I am sure some would say thank Chr*st for that, others may be kinder. My time there as manager was fantasticaly enjoyable and as a club we experienced unprecedented success for both the 1st and Res teams during my tenure (and we had no money at all ) but those days have now passed and the club moves forward; but for the record, I do wish the club, the players, comittee and the new manager the very best of luck for the future. Of course I still take an interest, I try to catch the odd game and I still have a lot of mates down there (well I like to think so anyway ) Also I believe they are not all that far off having a pretty decent team to be honest. Along with this the clubs sponsorship and facilities are really coming round now which is largely thanks to the hard work of the comittee and helpers down there. All this bodes well for Whitworths future. I know that whoever is fortunate to finally get the managers job at Whitworths will walk into a "proper" UCL football club. Joe (not hiding) ;D

rumour has it new manager isnt local, maybe Buckingham way, maybe corby, maybe huntingdon? It seems that managerial changes and people getting involved who shouldnt be anywhere near a football pitch have turned the club into a bit of a shambles. Results are poor, players leaving and as sixtiesmod once said " big news coming out of London road soon".

Answer for ktfctj, the other guy is mark herring, was manager there a couple of yrs ago, has played at various clubs besides whitworths, w,boro town and raunds. Is an active member of the committee. Also new manager will be installed this week, its not scully or d.young.

a lot of male ego going on the right man for the job will/has been appointed. Alot of people trying to stir up things instead of wanting whats best for the club.
