how tight will this division be this season? after 2 games they is only 3 clubs with 100%
northern star should still win it, but anyone of 9 clubs for 2nd? good to see Eynesbury starting well. pleased for the hard working back room boys
top 6 is our aim, anything else will be a bonus

looking at the division so far there are some suprises and some predictable results, pns and eynesbury have started well as usual with a suprise that hungtindon occupying a top 3 place early on, potton are the 'unknown' side and look asif they could be suprise promotion candidates as they have put in some good performances along with six points, there is a usual section of buckingham thrapston and r and h who could all clinch a second place spot at the end of the season, then there are the under performers in sileby bugbrooke and kempston, three sides who i expect to be in the mix at the end of the season, bpw along with chenicks olney and whitworths i would imagine will battle it out for bottom spot.
biggest fixtures for the weekend; kempston vs irchester, kempston need to get off the mark if they are going to challenge, but irchester wont be an easy game.
bugbrooke vs hungtindon, bugbrooke also need to return to winning ways or they may end up in a mid table challenge again like kempston.
pns vs thrapston, a tester for pns to see if they really do have the dominance that they had last year, as thrapston should be up there at the end of the season.

Good post div1fan. Great fun predicting what is going to occer and seeing all these teams playing down their chances. Like Huntingdon are going for top 6 Pat. Surely with the money spent on ground Hunts wouldnt have brought you in for top 6. with the budget being provided on top got to be looking at promotion

Potton could spring quite a few surprises. I gather they've been bolstered by a load of Royston reserves with the new manager?

top 6 is realistic as there are plenty of good sides this season. anything else above that is a plus. Al is under no pressure to get higher and if we do, well then thats a nice bonus. we dont have a budget this season due to the new club needing to be up and running first. working a year in hand is a good thing as then there is no chance of busting the club. next season could be a differnet thing. Al with a budget would be dangerous as he is so well connected with so many of the ucl's and above's top players in our area.

pleased to see that i have some answers from my previous post, bugbrooke appeared to deliver this weekend as did thrapston both getting good results and suggesting what we all think in that PNS will not run away with the league and certainly wont attain last years winning margain. kempstons loss to irchester suggests irchester may do alot better than some predicted with kempston looking very poor from the one game ive watched them. current predictions 1.PNS 2. Thrapston/Eyensbury
16 (last!) any from B.P.W, chenicks or whitworths.
