If that is the truth then you need to have a word with Ken. it is quite clear that if he is not you then he is someone very close to you. A person who follows or stalks you from club to club, very worrying. and jumps onto the DY bandwaggon. As he uses all the same words and quotes its the reason why i point my finger at you. This repeat always gets going because of his attacks of us yet again. It is very clear that he was not at the game Saturday by his post, as he would have had a dig at AL getting a red card. This Ken is doing you no favours at all, so tell him to button it, then maybe we can all move on. Take a little look at all his postings and where i get dragged into it and then reply, it is always after his attacks If you do not like my replies then get Ken to stop his t**tish ways. So KEN if you are not DY, then do him a favour and stop attacking us. Then you will find that i will not attack DY. Its clear i am not fond of DY, but i do respect what he trys to do for football. Irchester have been whipping boys for a while now, it is pleasing to see them turn into a championship looking side. But sorry if it upsets you Romans, but it does look like there is alot of work to do to get promoted with no sight of any starting and no planning permission and with the deadlines looming, it does look like you will not be ready. Try to walk before running.
I will not post on this thread again unless Ken decides to attack us again that is.

Pat,
Just to answer your points, the away changing room maybe on the small side but it does meet the minimum size requirements for this and higher standards. I have this eve measured it and it has a floor area of 12.75 square metres, which is bigger then the minimum of 12. If it wasn't clean then my apologies but that isnt under my control.
The cricket outfield streches to half way across the football pitch but the FA state as we ground share with a cricket pitch the bare minimum hard standing we need is 2 and a half sides, although the cricket club have kindly agreed for us to go the width of the pitch behind the far goal. Our groundsman has said we have enough room to do this, if we move & remark the pitch as its currently at an angle to the fence at the top end.
I do agree that the officals room aint the best and could do with a good clear out as tihngs just seem to get dumped in there.
Finally am glad you found all the members the Irchie back room staff and other members of the Sports Club respectful towards yourself and your team. I was however disappointed to see some of your players ignore my polite request to keep out of the soaking wet goal mouth prior to kick off.

Sorry if I offended you Pat - as I said this time I genuinely meant what I said. If you notice I did not mention your sidekick by name because he does you no favours at all and every knows you are the brains behind the scenes. Just think you need to toughen up and stand up for yourself and change your approach. What happened to him has no relevance to the game. I too doubt that Irchie will have facilities required to go up at this late stage whatever people behind the scenes say and it is sad this will be 3rd out of last 4 seasons this will have happened. But no matter winning the league is still winning the league and fair play to DY and all on Alfred Street.

Just changing the story a tad, but in my opinion the title is obviously not done and dusted just yet. I have already mentioned this but I think Eynesbury will be the team to keep an eye on.

The Huntingdon manager said in the Peterborough paper last night that they lost to the eventual winners of the league on Saturday.Correct me if im wrong but they didnt play PNS did they? Pat and CK can you please meet in the bike sheds after school and get it sorted because it has become really boring now between the both of you.

Thanks for the support BUT WE ARE NOT FAVORITES BY A LONG SHOT very early to say, any of the top 6 still have a chance, yes we have done well and lots to play for but lots of teams still to play each other with, am sure, lots of twists and turns ahead We all know any manager that gets beat always has to justify the action, the reason or the result, its a in built safety mechanism we all have, we all know the winner is who is at the top of the league at the end of the season and not before

Darren/Pat, you guys certainly make this site worth reading everyday. I first thought it was a personal war but over recent weeks I can see it is 2 competitive guys simply wanting the best for their clubs.
Darren has assembled a very good side with a mixture of Irchy old players and Corby lads who have played with him previously, some from a young age. He is a manager who's main concern is results, the ground is something he has to have faith in board to resolve.
Pat, I actually played at Huntington on Sat and agree the set up is superb and warrants prem status, question is, are the team Prem standard ? I guess we will see come March/April.
I wish both your teams the very best for the rest of the season and I can tell you that your "friendly" posts have created an interest for me in the UCL Div 1, something previously I had not paid that much attention too before.

Just had confirmation that Irchester has been given the go ahead for the ground developments, which will start ASAP - well done to everyone involved in pulling out all the stops and on a fanastic job to pull things around so quickly.......
