Yes mate the Bugbrooke legend himself at 43 years old. We travelled to Irchester without 1st team regulars Steve Spruels, Nick Spruels, Jimmy Moore, Glen Smith, Rob Frost, Shaun Daly, Adam Balme, Dan Brown and Will Briscoe. So I brought in Dan Ainsworth, Tom Murfitt, Gavin Nullatamby, John Chapple, Lee Garlick and Bobby Charleton from the reserves Mikey Wykes from the Under 18's and Jamie Cunningham from the veterans. I now clearly have a selection problem for Saturday but we have not had much to cheer about in 2010 so it is a nice problem. To be fair to Jamie we did play him away at PNS where he did a good job in a defensive line up as a lone striker, and he has been part of the squad since but I havent given him much playing time. With an inexperianced and young team on Tuesday he went on with instructions to enjoy himself in a more attacking line up. As you can see he hasnt lost the ability to put the ball in the back of the net. We have always been proud of our youth and have never been scared to play them with the attitude if your good enough your old enough, I guess with Budgie it is the opposite if your good enough your young enough. Anyway if he is able to walk on Saturday I dare say he will start again. I am his centre forward partner for the vets, maybe I should get out my pen and a signing on form

Must admit it went down quite well in Peterborough Adam!
Looks like your reserves will be giving ours a tough time in the County Cup final then

Great to hear Cogenhoe legend Jamie Cunningham is still scoring goals at 43. If his enthusiasm is as high as it was when he played for us he will be fit for Saturday. Quality player. Quality Lad.

I know Jamie quite well.
Was he a bit of a player in his earlier days?

I wouldn't disagree with any of the above. I mentioned the score and scorer to another former UCL stalwart, Dave Torrance, and he gave a wry smile and said, "Well, quality lasts".
No comment from passit (yet)

Good to see a BSMFC v PNS final for the 2nd year running Tommy and biased as I am my money is on a BSMFC win.
I look forward to watvhing the game with you.
Passit is in the USA I believe Foz, and he was on Tuesday so was not at the game along with a few of his players so Irchester also fielded a team missing a few regular players.
However no idea where CorbyKen is

I am still around. Bit of a shock when I heard the result Tuesday against a mid table side. No DY around though explains it. Irchie still well placed and will smash the PNS dreamers into touch when we meet. Prem here we come.

Too cold to be out watching football at present. Watched the mighty Man.U on the TV instead. Another team that are going to win a trophy or 2 this year. Might pop along to Chenecks tomorrow though if on as we owe them big time. Come on the Romans!!!

Jamie Cunningham is one of the best strikers i have seen at UCL level. Watched him destroy a Steve Evans Stamford side at Desborough in the season Stamford romped the league. Even Evans held his hands up and said it was a heck of a performance from a striker. Why didn't he play higher? I heard it was because he never liked travelling.
