That seems strange about Bourne. I'd have thought they'd have entered both the FA Cup and FA Vase, particularly bearing in mind the success they've had in the FA Cup this season. Can anyone from Bourne shed any light?

Yep - like Holbeach, they shouldn't have ben in the competitions previously as there grounds don't meet the standrads ... simples. Don't know how the tigers still manage to get in seeing as they've been rtelegated for substandard grounds ... anyone else any ideas?

Honestref - The list is applications not acceptances, in any case Bourne and Holbeach were relegated for not meeting the grading standard required to be in UCL Prem - not the FA Vase - Peterborough Northern Star are not included in the list either and they are now a Prem club !

honestref - With reference to Holbeach, they were relegated as I understand it for not having sufficient hard standing, the Vase requirement is for the whole of ONE touchline to have hardstanding(3 in the FA Cup). The Cup and Vase entry requirement is for the regular use of an enclosed ground where charge for admission must be made. No definition of "enclosed" is made, whether Bourne would have been eligible, had they applied, I am not certain. However as previously stated the clubs failed the league not Vase requirements.

Good start for Desborough...
Rothwell Tn away in the Extra Prelim Rd of the FA Cup, followed by away games at every stage for the first 3 rounds in that competition and the FA Vase too....

Gav - Desborough could meet Rushden & Higham in Vase ( if enough games are won)
