Well Bobby Zamora of course our saviour under Crapello!
Also its vital that all England players learn to speak Italian and respect Crapello who although he hasn’t won a thing in 16 years I feel we should all have confidence in his ability to motivate players and create an environment for success. Also it’s important that no one smiles and respects Italian football and its managers! I mean they had a cracking world cup too. Nice to see crapello sent his assistant to Liverpool’s match last night I mean we can’t have English fans shouting or booing at him? Can we?
Surely he was pretty safe going to see the u19’s abroad?? But didn’t bother. Hope he is managing ok on his salary from the FA.
We have t really accept that money via the premier league drives our football and the FA are subservient too it.
Cheers BPW for this post I had just got over the poorest world cup I have seen and England’s failure out of my system and looking forward to real footie with real people via the UCL now I am a grumpy git again.

Yeah true enough were all gonna die someday!!! Personally i think we do away with most of the so called generation now as they have done nothing and only getting older. Cannot believe Capelli did not take Walcott and Adam Johnson to the World Cup, just as impact players from the bench. When needing a goal with 20 to go it was not great to see big Emile coming on!!!! I would bring in NOW: Gibbs Wilshere Walcott Adam Johnson Huddlestone Wellbeck Ashley Young and Gabby (cant spell 2nd name)... And many more

We are so nuts its unreal that anything we do from here cant be any worse. I don't buy this crap about having to be playing for your club week in week out to get in team cos it only means your players have played nuts-loads of games by time world cup comes round. Young Hungary players is what we need for England, players chomping at the bit for a chance to prove themselves. This lot we got now don't give a nuts cos they all minted

Until the gutter press stop picking the players then nothing will change!
Having been to watch the charity shield game yesterday as a neutral, we don't need Rooney, we don't lampard, we don't terry and the only issue with Cole is his private life, he is too valuable to ignore, persistent performer. Owen sadly is not his old self..
Agree a new set of players who are hungry not well fed like the failiures.....to balance it Gerrard can .......off as well.

What game were you watching? Cole was the worst player on the park! The best? Scholes who unlike others Crapello didnt bother speaking too to ask him to return for the World cup.. instead he asked Carrager! and as if to highlight the Crapello panto two of the players he called up Saturday rejected him by sunday night! I say him.. and mean it. This Italian comedy act has all the man mangement skills of a dead hamster. Still at £6million a year we cant expect him to have a full skill set can we? Mumma mia

So local fan BPW you would rather players weren't playing week in week out?? Strange how it is only England players that are knackered when they get to the World Cup when they have to prove they can do it without 6 or 7 foreign players around them. Until people stop hero worshiping players who are decent, but no more than that, and stop brandishing the term world class around then disappointment will always be around the corner. I mean look at that list of players who say should be brought in now. Some good players no doubt but seriously you see them as England's saviours. At least we can always just blame the manager. Fabio Capello, what has he ever done in management.

Mumma mia Like the gutter press (you don't happen to work for the Sun do you using the same pathetic drivel thats written in the papers, panto, crapello, Italian comedy act ?) you got it wrong. Did I say Cole was the best? or any player in fact? No I didn't! I will now! I agree Scholes was the best, deserved his M.O.M, the link up with the three changes up front from the second half were spot on. that's why I think they don't need Rooney. Personally I went to see a football game not pander to the either side's self gratifications and tribal chantings ! What's wrong with the England is side is us, the press, the fa and the overpaid numptys. have fun with your reply!

The point i was making about players playing week in week out was aimed at the likes of Joe Cole, Walcot and Adam Johnson. They would have been fit and fresh players at the world cup with a damn sight better chance of scoring a goal from the bench rather than some of the donuts we had on there making up the numbers.. I agree with Cookie. Capello has been crap recently and I'll tell you else who shouldn't get away without criticism and that is Stu Pearce. He has big say in the operation with being the golden child of the FA. He is useless I to was at the Charity Shield yesterday. I thought Scholes, Terry and Cole are deserving of England players but there was not much else english to be that proud of. It was the first time i have seen Rooney in the flesh playing and he is better than average at best. Playing for Utd and scoring 40 goals in a season only tells me at the moment how many defensive errors are made in the prem and the gap between utd and the other top clubs compared to others is huge.... I cannot remember the last time the likes of Real Madrid came in with a huge bid for an English player??? If Carrick can play for England then so can i The lad Valencia was the best player on the pitch and is one of Utd's best player. Can't we have him

Joe Cole hasn't been fit and fresh for about 5 years! I can honestly say i have never known a player improve so much in the minds of everybody without actually doing anything! I know the preception of a player improves when he is out of a team but the Joe Cole fanfare is absolutely ridiculous. If he had anything to offer a top team Chelsea wouldn't have let him go. A bit part player throughout his Chelsea career and yet now somehow the myth is that he performed amazingly for them.
