Whoops ... that's noit what I meant Lumpy. I meant the club managemet committees who have the complimentary entry cards for the league - I think every club gets 10. I've ben to some games where theres half the committee form another clubs not belonging either of the clubs playing - especially the local derbys etc. In fairness I reckon the UCL committee who run the league should have free unrestructed access to any of the league games - especially if they see something untoward and do something about it - hmmmm - maybe not!

baldystud - it's not just the ground you are paying to go in - it's the whole entertainment package; which includes the players wages (at bigger clubs) and expenses at smaller clubs, running costs, the lists goes on and on. I grudge paying £5 at some of the lower grounds but some of them do plough it back into the club to meet minimum standards. I reckon that anyone that thinks that getting a couple of hours entertainment, gossip swopping, cheap beer plus abusing some poor sod running up and down a touch line, all for a fiver is a rip-off needs their head testing you may have misunderstood my jest at fenman, honest ref. i dont mind paying £5 at any ground in the ucl. its the going rate. the rip off comes when a club charges away fans £3 more than home fans. going against league rules.

Try reading rule 21,Deeping Scroungers breeched that rule and were found guilty, but not punished, its illegal to charge home and away supporters different amounts, unless a voucher scheme was in operation, but the voucher scheme has to be made available to all supporters. On entry to Deepings ground the question are you a Deeping or Lynn supporter, deeping £5,Lynn £8!

Do you really think its helpful to refer to Deeping Rangers as “Deeping Scroungers” or advising UCL committee members to “not take the p***!”
