Wow - is this where someone suggests that there is no entry for the word "gullible" in the Oxford English Dictionary? Or there is a new World Point Missing Champion?

I think you will find spiders that the points raised in this post are to (as the title suggests) congratulate wellingboro. not one of the people above questions wheather other teams deserve credit....only you.....and not going about it in a nice way..... If you would like to give credit to certain teams then by all means start up a thread...........................and before you reply I'm not a wellingborough fan.....far from it!! Welcome back localchap, have you been on your annual mid season walkabout

Not sure that 3rd gets you promoted, may be wrong but as I understand it only 1st gives you a chance and then there may be a play-off competition so do not go counting on 3rd. regarding records, everything WT2004 do is a record because they are only a couple of years old. Dont want to sound cynical but the original team went out of existence. This team is nothing to do with the history of the grand old lady that was the original wellingborough Town no matter how much some may try to draw the connection.

Congratulations Wellingborough Town? ?? On What - Being in the top six??- Great stuff. And as for all the records - Well done - But how about Wooton, have a look at what Phil has done over the past three seasons, Deeping make WTFC look like also rans, Boston are far superior to WTFC and probably the most complete side in the UCL. Blackstones are doing fine and continuing their building process and Spencer are Spencer and Steve deserves great credit, Watch out for Potton they will make a late surge towards the top six, Cogenhoe are the best footballing side in the UCL and have the a great leader (the best manager in the UCL) - So well done Wellingborough and congratulations on the only thing you will win this season - THE BIGGEST BUDGET!! Thank you for that Spider, I think we might as well pack up then and apply for relegation!!! I thought that we were doing pretty well this season, obviously not. Oh well, nevermind, I shall always be a Wellingborough Town fan, if that is OK with you my old mate! "Come on then my luverly jubbberly Doughboys"

Latest news from Wellingborough Town web site is dated 6th January 2007!- need we say anymore? It is also very noticeable that those who jumped ship from the old club and went to look for better times at a club not a million miles away have now returned. It really is quite farcical the absolute nonsense which is portrayed by them on this forum I feel very worried for Nick Ashby. who is a good guy. At least thoughthe persons concerned have had the courtesy to change their club ties ! I wonder where they will end up next ?

Not quite on topic, but how nice is it that Skip has responded to criticism and trimmed his avatar so we dont mix him up with KPM?

at the risk of repeating myself.... "Now this isn’t a very nice post is it? I am no lover of “parts” of Wellingborough's approach both on and off the pitch but really do not feel that this post does them much justice for what they have achieved. Isn’t it great that a famous old club has risen from extinction..? And are progressive meeting head on the challenges presented by the FA.
So is there really a point to this post???"
