Interesting to see that Peter Naylor, Secretary of St Neots wrote to the League expressing his Club's objection to the extension to the season! What a wonderful caring gesture to those Clubs that are not quite as "lucky" with their pitches during harsh weather, or, heaven forbid, those that have been successful in various Cup Competitions this season. And they wonder why!

He was "expressing the Club's objection", not a personal objection. Lackof, I honestly don't know why the Club would object. Going on a Club tour, pitch refurbishment, contracts out of time, honestly don't know, perhaps you could throw some light on the subject.

No wonder your a grass cutter, proberbly the most insipid man on this forum by far. Always St Neots bashing total jealousy. If they did object then why not, i doubt if it is about how many games to fit in more one of another weeks wages to their contract players which proberbly according to you would be about £10k a week. Which makes good financial sense. So please just get a life and carry on cutting the grass.

To be quite honest,if St Neots have played all their games, what difference should it make to them if the season is extended.Whether they have won the league or not won't make a difference,or do they want everyone else to squeeze games in,wear out their players, and be less of a threat to them?

Lumpy, how dare you? Erin...proberbly isn't a word I recognise. Also the grass isn't growing on our barren pitch yet and please could you point out to me an exact post of when I have ever mentioned actual figures for St Neots. Lackof asked a question and it was an honest answer.

Never ever known it to be extended previously?? Guessing wages, people with booked vacations and it being long enough may also have something to do with it. Cant see a problem in it.

perhaps an extension to the season, would mean kings lynn could reduce the number of games (4) they have to play in the final week. st neots obviously see it as a big help to their chances of winning the title, a linnets fixture pile-up.

St Neots start the season with 2 home games, Lynn start with 2 away games.
End of season, St Neots 2 out of 3 are home games, Lynn 4 games in final week.
Any coincidence?

St Neots start the season with 2 home games, Lynn start with 2 away games. End of season, St Neots 2 out of 3 are home games, Lynn 4 games in final week. Any coincidence? You really do not look at genuine reasons for the way fixtures are the way they are. Firstly Geographically Kings Lynn should not be in this league, midweek games are a nightmare to arrange because of distances teams have to travel to or from Kings Lynn. Wonder why the ridgeons didn't want them, obviously knew something the UCL didn't. Kings Lynn back log of fixtures are because of their successful run in the vase not a conspiracy by the UCL. St neots are not favored when it comes to arranging fixtures, kings Lynn sat home, St Ives Tues away, kings Lynn sat away. Lynn 4 games in last week Guess what all against the bottom teams all at home, not bad that. By the way Daventry had 18 games to fit in last season from 16th march Lynn over the same period had 16, St Ives also had 16, only one team ever complains you guessed it hard done by Kings Lynn. The problem with Kings Lynn like most teams that go bust and start again is that they think they are above everyone and expect all and sundry to bow to them. Always hard done by, always the victims, always the other teams fault. Trouble. Boston away, Deeping away, St Neots away, Coleville home and away. How many other teams in the UCL have had trouble this season, or any previous season. Answer NONE. As you say any coincidence.

What is strange is that all bar the Coalville game, trouble was always at away grounds,so what you are actually saying is there are 4 grounds where there have been trouble this season? Which grounds were they? St Neots,Boston,King's Lynn and Deeping Rangers. And anyone with half a brain would know that the catalyst behind the trouble during the Coalville game was the Coalville fans,I'm not saying our fans are whiter than white, they shouldn't have risen to the bait.So apart from Coalville miss, can you explain the problem at the other 3,as we have had no problems at other home games?
