In truth it has been fully discussed, if the FA invoke their example it has to be a very serious consideration, we have no wish to be travelling into Brum, Shropshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Herefordshire and Warwickshire, it is all outside of our geographical area. The matter has changed demographically with the closure of Daventry United and voluntary demotion of Northampton Spencer (Long Buckby still to be graded) which means all too few derbies. In any event when ground grading results are known where the hell we will be placed is quite literally anyone's guess as they have extended to geographical boundary by nearly 40 miles to accommodate us in their example.
We have made these points very firmly in the clubs presentation to The FA so we have to wait and see, I am much more optimistic that there is considerable pressure being exerted from many high places, we must not count our chickens though.
We obtained our FA F grade as expected so at least our destiny is in our hands as far as what we need to do to safeguard the future of our club. We understand the FA have some serious problems in some areas with ground grading which will render their example unworkable - something theUCL's case also made!
We are one of the clubs who have had to spend a vast amount to achieve all we have and are rightly proud of our achievements, sad if we do not have enough local football to sustain our club.
Any blood will be on the hands of The FA.

Oadby town Fc with average gates of around 200 and have a very strong chance of coming runners up ( need 4points from 6 ) with ground grading f would jump at the chance of coming into your premier division and trying to get clarity from the fa if we would be allowed to as there will be no space in mfa. And travelling in ucl would be much better for us and be the clubs preferred choice, do we think ucl teams would be ok with the travelling to Oadby and would you guys like us ?

Desborough would welcome you with open arms. After all you're not far at all from us are you and we've been to your place for pre-season friendlies numerous times. On another note is Ken still attached to your club.
