AFC R&D members have agreed not to discuss any voting options on open forums. Quite right too, so I have been told many times!!

£2 to watch Whitworths. Same league, right next door. #dealoftheweek Whitworths average attendance last season 50, ours around 300 so we have a lot more potential to generate revenue and we probably have greater ambitions for that reason. Don't forget, we've been used to paying Conference Premier prices so £5 is a bargain to us. It is definately our intention to maximise income for our first season back, and quite rightly so. The thread title is "who will bring the crowds in" - answer "we shall". Our entrance price is less than a quid more than the average for the division. We did a bucket collection for Whitworths last season when their clubhouse burned down , so we'll probably pay more on the day we play them away anyway.

So 784 people turned up at the Dog & Duck this afternoon to watch AFC Rushden & Diamonds first match against Thrapston. Very pleased with that.
Brought a few quid in that we can splash on new players (only joking).

Prices this season will be £4 for senior games and £3 for youth team games this covers the cost of officials and really nothing more.

I've not posted anything negative towards Whitworths, I was trying to point out the difference in the two clubs ambitions hence the difference in pricing structures. As I said, we did a bucket collection for them last season, we don't have any problems paying whatever gate prices they ask for. It's a shame their clubhouse was burnt down, cos we bring much revenue that was as well. Maybe you should run a raffle or have another collection when we come ?

What's the "two options" 3ofD? what ever it will be ugwe it will be a collective decision from the Hive! £5 and £3 taking an average, about £3000 + on the gate for 750 crowd, who's in the money!! wow!!
