Dont think there will be many who will meet the March 2007 deadline. Thats just UCL... who is going to tell the Ridgeons to remove Kings Lyn and Histon reserves from their premier league or the south Midland to upgrade. The FA will do what they want but risk destroying much of step 5 & 6.. but heck do they care??? As long as Macdonalds sponsor FA Charter .. and the money roles in... even though it does nothing to improve the standard of play.... my vote.. do what you can do clubs and let the FA do their worst. Clubs should unite and petition the FA.

Have we really Ian? When did you hear that? It makes sense though as I agree with Cookie, to enforce a date like this without ensuring total compliance would ruin grassroots. I also think some clubs could challenge legally if all leagues at same levels do not apply consistency. (Not a 'no win no fee' consultant honest).

What sort of cretin, yet another highly paid jobs-worthy in the FA I suppose, is responsible for these gradings anyway? Also what clubs can actually afford these the changes? Here's an insanity; our perimeter path is 36 inches" wide (the old money version of 3 feet), now its got to be, wait for it, 39 inches" which in new money is 1 metre. 3 bleeding inches!!!! And we need a turnstile to count the few that come in!! This is madness and they are going to extend the deadline by another year. Why don't they scrap it instead and employ someone not so stupid and concentrate on issues that really affect our beloved game. The FA is planet moron at the moment
