Accepted cc61- it was not a reflection on your keeper's ability but of the final score - It must be at least 25 years since the res's beat Raunds Res !!!!!!!

Its great to see that my wish for a reserve forum has been granted! its nice to see that the lads have some where now that they can comment on the games and whatever else is happening in the resverve divisons. I know many of the lads at BPW wanted to have somwhere they could post. Espescially now as they are joint top!

Ive not seen may of the reserve teams this season, but I wouuld have to say that Foxy from BPW is a quality keeper. his shot stopping and ball handling is superb and he is still a young lad so plenty of time for him to iron out any little problems with his game that he has!

i have to agree footballfan that foxy is by far the the best keeper in the res leages and whith time he will become one of the best in the area i say he was a great signing from a manerger with vission i sense a big future him, also take my hat off to bpw res manerger undefeated in oct in the next round of the cup and joint top after a very slow start its taken time for him to get going but now has a good squad and team helping him has to be a shout for manerger of mounth.

Yes Turnip (KG) Foxy is a very good, talented and young goalkeeper, And 'me and my bro' did do very well to keep/sign him as there was others after him. Alot of credit must go to Liam himself as he wanted to stay due to the fact that he was and still is enjoying it.

A good team effort by the Lankies reserves saw them win 3-2 at Holbeach after being 3-0 up Danny Bird, Gary Broadway and John MacLeod scoring for Higham - any views from Holbeach on the game?

Been viewing this forum for a while now and decided to make my first post. Seems like a good forum.
As a local, I went to watch BPW reserves on saturday against Desborough F.C res. I havnt been up there for a while and was pleasantly surprised. Pitch looked great. BPW matched Desborough in the first half and then Desborough threw everything at them in the second half but couldnt score. BPW managed to hold out and must be very happy against oposition from a team in a higher league.
BPW had a few very good players, certainly too good for the reserves. Very impressed with the keeper (foxy) when called upon, they also had two good young wingers and a central midfielder who looked very comfortbale on the ball (matty i think).
Someone at the game mentioned that the reserves are unbeaten in the last month or so, can see why on that display. Things look on the up for BPW, am use to seeing both teams at the foot of the table.

Apparently the Spencer Linesman had to ref thier game against Rothwell Corinthians Reserves on Saturday because the ofifcial ref failed to turn up. Does that explain the result?
