PAUL McSWEENEY has been sacked by town. as far as I can make out he told a few porkies to get the job, as so often happens porkie piers get found out. So no manager and no direction, stability isn't the "buzz" word at town

Ricky Byrne from the under 18s is holding the fort until such time a new manager is appointed. However any new manager will have to agree to a CRB check and must agree to go on the FA's child protection course(if he doesnt already hold a certificate and crb check) as he will be working with a number of under 18 players.

well done Rick, as a good number of yesterdays team were u18s that was a great result (won 3-2). I hope the club are proud of you, as your u18s this week went to stotfold and convincingly won 4-1. Maybe you should take over the first team

yes great result ricky what a good choice of the club to appoint you and alan as mangers of the ressies maybe if its to much to do both you should ask gary ling to come back and help with the ressies - a good idea i think iam sure paul swannell would be happy as he has stated last year was last year -

Thought it might be an appropriate time to rake up this Topic. The last thing I heard was that the U18 manager was only doing it for a couple more weeks- so surely we are close to hearing of a new appointment?
