thought this was for want of a word men against boys ................you could see sleaford had some experienced players in the side against a young huntingdon side. i'm all for youth playing if they are good enough but felt there was too much youth in towns side. they finished the game with the oldest player in the back 4 at 19years old annd think the tallest was 5ft 7 .....no wonder the 2nd and third were headers

lordb,
Definitely lacked experience in all departments last night and a weak defence always gets exploited at this level. Just look at how many HTFC have let in this season.
From what I've seen of the last two games, the team seems to lack any sort of spine - no one to command in defence, midfield or attack.

Those comments coming from a Town legend like Matt Barker are frightening, how's the new lad from Stotfold getting on, hope he is worth his place as he already owes the club £50. Is it true the Town keeper weighs about 17st

What happened to the team that gave Whitworths a right good game the other week? Surely not the same team ......

Don't know what side they put out against you Judgejohn but the side we played on wednesday were a very young side. As pointed out earlier in the thread they didn't have a lot of height at the back and we scored two headed goals.

Too inexperienced ....... never the same side twice .......... to many out of towners not playing ...... could be all sorts of reasons as to why town are not doing as well as we'd like .... at the end of the day it wasnt a good performance against sleaford and the manager has been quoted as saying he'll win 4 of his last 5 games ......so lets look forward to winning the last 4 shall we

It was very windy the night Whitworths were in Town but a very Huntingdon played well and were unlucky not to get something out of the game albeit their consolation goal was right at the death. I thought that team might have given the Sleaford boys a bit of a game

Judge you should be in a position to worry about your own teams destiny not relying on others to help you out. If you win all your remaining games then you win the league simple as that. as for huntingdon well we have to wait to see our destiny but with performances like the one against sleaford it wont be good we cant keep hearing that we have a good young side but lose we do need to find the right blend of experience like whitworths and sleaford have
