Very pleased to see both your 1st team and reserves doing so well... From all who played for Cogenhoe reserves. Lets hope you dont get what your sportsman like conduct deserves and be playing in reserve division 2 next year!!!NOT

congratulations, your right, we probably did need those extra 2 points we earned that day to remain in res div 1 but hey you clearly needed the point more. outclassed and out played.. see you next season im sure. what goes around comes around, maybe not this season, or next, but im sure it will one day!

what has happened? after a slow start huntingdon reserves went through a really good stage and were mid table at 1 point, now they are 3rd from bottom and in real danger of getting relegated! they havent picked up a win in a while! what has gone wrong? can anyone clarify?

The instability within the first team has had an obvious knock-on effect to the reserves. You only have to look at how many players have been used and how many have come and gone to realise that . For some reason the Club continue to recruit managers who either field a team full of local players or a team full of 'outsiders' and this policy rarely breeds success. The answer is obviously to get the blend right but it takes a strong character with good contacts and people skills to achieve this.
I'm afraid, as long as things stay as they are, the current 'Sunday league' mentality will remain. Nice new club house though on the positive side.

The club is short of players due to a poor start to the season and when the manager left he took most of the team with him. They might not of all got in but a few were good players when played in the correct positions. next season we should be back fighting for promotion,,,,,,,,,,come on H-town

It's not all doom and gloom at Huntingdon this season, watched Huntingdons U18 many times this season playing some great football and they have just fell short in winning the Rigeons west league and will hopefully go all the way next season with all the players being only 17.

As 'overthehill' put it, it's not all doom & gloom at Huntingdon. I think the club will make 'HUGE STRIDES' next season with the 1st team being in the promation race. Watch this space !!!!!!!

Bit harsh - joint 3rd wasnt bad - do you think the change in management will bring that next year, heard there is changes again next year, but positive changes - Mark Furness top bloke to come in and help Martin Ray, great shout for local talent as Mark will add to what Martin has already.

it doesn't really matter. as it was a decent season for HTFC last season.
no such thing as joint placing unless the goal diff and points are the same.
