Interesting if they have. It's a stronger league, but the travel will be a killer compared to UCL.
I think it'll maybe be a safety net if the UCL get all poor over the ground improvements not being met by the required date.
Fari play to them if they have.

Ridgeons ground are at a far better standard. could be PNS may have applied because they will be remaining in UCL div 1 next season. im sure that PNS havnt as there must be a deadline to apply to join and standards are very high. maybe its just bitterness and anger by vince Elliot due to not meeting the UCL deadlines. easy to blame the planning people for dragging your heels.

PNS have done good under Tommy Cooper and his contacts, i support his efforts, but not yours Vince C&G. So you have thrown all your toys out of your buggy and spat your dummy because you dragged your heels in getting things done and ran off to the Ridgeons league? much more expense and time needed for that. Good luck.

So is it true that they have applied for the Ridgeons League ?? Cant say that i've heard anything about this one. From my understanding, the facilities at PNS would be more than adequate for the Ridgeons League Div1 but is this all just a big rumor as to them living the UCL ?? 'Tommyc:....perhaps you could enlighten us on this rumour ?

Delboy, we seem to be entering into the silly season on here regarding what is happening re promotion & relegation next season and I have about as much idea as the next man about what is really happening.
I was a bit surprised that the inspection of our ground took place before the deadline, until one interpretation of events that I was given suggested that we would be told where we passed and where we did not and would be given a short period of time to put that right, possibly with a bond in place. We actually got the lights up on the morning of April 6th, before the league meeting which took place later that evening and informed the league of this?
Can't help you beyond that I am afraid - managers don't sit on the committee at PNS and if they have applied to go in the Ridgeons League for whatever reason it would be as much news to me as it would you.

Point taken 'tommyc'. Like you said, managers look after the playing side whilst the commitee look after other business. Would be a shame to lose PNS from the UCL.

So. Tommy C, you expect the football people on here, who are mostly all involved with Clubs in various capacities, to really believe that you, as Manager, do not know what's happening at your Club. Come on! Are you "implying" that your Committee would possibly apply to move Leagues without consulting you, seems like you'd better get that application in at Deeping Rangers, pretty quick.

Just giving an honest answer to a direct question GDB - I would look a bit stupid if I came on here and said defo No when events had overtaken me and we had.
My role at PNS is to manage the 1st team and the committee don't have an obligation to make sure they run all of their decisions past me first - remember this is only my 2nd season there whilst the committee have many people that have been involved in the club for over 20 years.
Having said that, I did ask the question myself yesterday and was told no!!!
