That hardly does Desborough any justice, could it just be that Wellingborough were beaten on the night?

Maybe Wellingborough missing some key players? Dave Bond injured he performes an important midfield role for them.

I can't believe this result, Desborough may have played well but how has this defence just been carved open like this?

I can't believe this result, Desborough may have played well but how has this defence just been carved open like this? When ar tarn played fords away they played with a lot of pace in the team and pressed high. Luckily we took an early lead and held on but I can see why they beat Wellingborough. They dont have much pace at the back. Only my opinion!

Nice to see acknowledgment of a fine performance by Ar Tarn by those at Wellingborough who did not blame the referee all night.
A stunning composed performance that did not flatter the Desborough performance in any way. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and once again a thank you to those from Wellingborough who appreciated that they were beaten by a better team.

Absolutely agree with Gav.Desborough were always going to give someone a thumping this season, just didn't expect it to be Wellingborough! A very very flat performance from the Doughboys compared to their 3-2 win at Ar Tarn a few weeks ago,but this does not detract from an excellent Desborough side , particularly in attack who were unlucky not to score 7 or 8 to be honest.
Just a shame the Evening Telegraph don't give equal press coverage when Wellingborough lose!!

One of the main factors was that Desborough played as though they wanted to win the game. They were solid through out and hopefully taught us a lesson!
We should see on Saturday whether we learnt anything!
