We travel to Blackstones 2mora for another tough away game.
Going to Blackstones with a full squad is hard enough at times, so without Jason Turner, Chris defante, Goal keeper Shaun Markie, Michael Boyle Chong, and doubts in 2-3 others its certainly going to be a tough test 2mora.
But....................we cant worry about who we haven,t got, we have to go with what we have. We just need to concentrate on our game (if we can), play our football and who knows!!!!!!.
Certainly enough talent in the team to get a positive result 2mora, as long as we all knuckle down and dig in when we need to.
Good luck boys. All the best.

Haydn, it was a cracking game and in the end, probably a fair result. I don't think that you will see two better struck goals than your two yesterday. Doughboys played some good football and your Manager Rob is a real gentleman, very rare in football these days. Had a good chat with him before the game, mainly about the Refereeing standards and the fact that you had been "Reffed" by yesterday's official recently. Our lot battled really hard and created several chances and were worthy of a point with two well taken goals of our own. Only down side to the afternoon was the "assault" by your keeper near the end, for which the apparently "Lincs F A Blue-Eyed Boy" waved play on!!!!!! I think everybody on the ground was mystified at that and happily I've just found out that after suffering concussion and a trip to Peterborough Hospital in the Ambulance, Robbie has been told he cannot play for three weeks. Put a dampener on it for us, as it became the sole talking point afterwards. Talk should have been about a cracking game but once again ended up being about a poor Referee.

Hello Kevin, Wasnt at the game yesterday as i have been at the football club all weekend on burger duties. Firstly lets hope your lad is ok from the incident, and from everyone at Wellingborough we wish him a speedy recovery. I have spoken to certain people regards the incident about your lad and our goal keeper and we feel your word of "assault" is a little unfair on our goal keeper as I was told your lad fell very awkwardly onto his head after the challenge. Obviously i wasn,t there to see the challenge, but the referee obviously would have seen the challenge, so if he deemed it to be an "assault" as you say he surely would have blown up and maybe sent our goal keeper off, but no he didn,t he just carried on playing until he realised an "head injury had occured. I think we just need to be carefull about certain words we use on the forum so things don,t get blown up out of proportion. That doesn,t mean for one moment we are not concerned for your player, totally the opposite, we are deeply concerned that the lad makes a very speedy recovery. I do believe our chairman rang up the club today to find out how the lad was doing. Rob and Nick certainly would not at any time tell any of our players to go out to hurt any of the opposing players. I was told they both challenged for the ball and your lad fell really badly onto his head. Kev you may have a different view on things, but all I can do is give our view point on what happened yesterday. Going back to the game yesterday, two wonderstrikes from Dan Spaughton, and super Dan Durridge put us 2-0 up and i was an extremely happy "burger monster" yesterday afternoon, telling everyone down at the club we were 2-0 up, quoting myself saying "thats gunna be a fantastic result away at Blackstones". My delight came back down to earth with a bump as i was told at 5-00pm that we drew 2-2, totally gutted feeling came to mind, but once i had chance to reflect on the result, it was nice to go to Blackstones and be dissapointed in why didn,t come away with a win, as for me its a very positive step forward, and well done to all the players in the team who worked so hard and done very well yesterday. Very proud of the boys. Kev i always try to give an honest assessment of things involved with Wellingborough Town, and once again i would like to repeat our concern for your player and everyone involved with the club wish him a speedy recovery. Our people would like to thank everyone at Blackstones for their generous hospitality as usual and wish you all the very best for the rest of the season.

Haydn, interesting that you "weren't there". I can assure you that it wasn't the ground that caused the injury, it was the knee! Talking to both Rob and some of your committee before, during and after the game it was interesting that the damage suffered to your centre half against Pagnell was deemed an assault by them! If the cap fits you have to wear it, old friend. Robbie is out of Hospital after suffering concussion and cannot play for 3 weeks. How is the keeper's knee? Yes, we did appreciate the call from your Chairman as to Robbie's health. These things do happen but it is distasteful when they do, unlike your Burgers!!!!!

We all see things differently sometimes in football Kev, Agreed I was not there saturday, but only going on what our bench told me what happened and they must have seen the incident very clearly. What was the referee doing??? was he not watching the game? . Surely he must have seen the incident? ? When we played Pagnell i posted Alex Deakin received a stray elbow, doesn,t mean it was deliberate or not, if our committee thought different thats there view. I repeat an earlier post that we don,t send our players out to deliberately hurt any individual on the oposing side, if a "stray" knee has caused a serious injury no "intent"was meant by the goal keeper. Accidents do happen during football matches, we do share different views on what happened, but the bottom line is your player gets back playing footie as soon as possible. Thanks for your compliment on the burgers mate!!!!!! Take care mate
