Hoping this afternoons clash between Harborough Town and S&L is as good a game as the cup game a few weeks back...will be a fascinating encounter with ourselves finding form now against Div 1's league leaders

Its fair to say our keeper did two top saves in the first half, but cant remember much more than routine saves after that, the one in the first minute being top drawer
You definitely were the better side first half, and Harborough had the better of the second half, and several excellent chances themselves, think a draw was fair in the end, Wright having two excellent chances within a couple of minutes of each other
Tuesday may well be different as you suggest, and its true that we'd have preferred the game to be on Wednesday, but all we can do is try and give you another tough match just the same as the two we have played so far.

Looking forward to an interesting evening ahead at Occupation Road. A lot at stake with a home draw in the 2nd Round against opposition either ourselves or Harborough Town are capable of beating. 11 goals in two meetings this season probably mean a single goal will win it!...and I hope it's Byrnesy!!

...and the scorer was...Byrnesy!...well-played to our lads and commiserations to Harborough Town, clearly a well-run club, well-organised squad of players run by nice people- hope to see them in the Premier next season where they deserve to be.

Thanks bulldog, I'm sure we'll be meeting regularly from next season= and not because S&L will be relegated before any wise guys join in! All the best to Harborough Town for the rest of this season.

Thanks for the kind words Kev, much appreciated, good season so far but still a lot to do to gain promotion, Div One seems more competitive than last season, plenty of teams involved so its going to be interesting.
But we have enjoyed the games against Daventry and S&L and it has given us a taste of Prem Football
All the best in the next round, you have a good draw and I think you have a chance to do well this season.
