Sorry Haydn, just picked up your note. Looking forward to aseeing you all tonight and of course a good competitive game. Heavens have just opened up here but I reckon it could rain for days and not have any effect - everywhere is so dry. Don't forget to try one of Mick's burgers :-) and of course very happy to give you the tour. Carling Cup action Aldershot v Man Utd on the Sky screens - bet they will be after a convincing win :-)
See you all later. Jeff

Game finished 2-2 tonight. I thought once Jason Turner had scored our penalty very late on we would get the 3 points, but unfortunatley even deeper in injury time we conceded a penalty of our own which Yaxley scored.
Thought we did create a good number of chances first half but we could not put the ball away. We played some very good football, passed it around very well and looked sharp to be honest.
We then had a bout of pressure from Yaxley who took the game to us and we had to defend very well.
Second half we took the lead when the Yaxley full back attempted to head the ball back to his keeper, but headed it straight to Michael Boyle Chong who took advantage and slotted past the goal keeper for a cool finish.
Yaxley equalised when the ball whipped in from the left was unfortunately headed into is own net by Ben Johnson.
We then looked under pressure for much of the second half as Yaxley created the better of the chances and had more of the play. We went 2-1 up on 90 mins with Jason Turners penalty, but a minute later Yaxley equalised for a second time with their penalty.
I think a point was fair, thought with the chances we had first half we could have got 3 points from the game.
Well done to Yaxley who worked very hard, and created us problems.
Well done to our lads who defended very well at times, and we all worked hard as a team and another game undefeated so for me another step forward. Three games unbeaten now is very pleasing. We just need to be more ruthless infront of goal, need to test the keeper more with shots on goal which we don,t seem to do much at the moment for whatever reason.
Jeff, hospitality first class and many thanks for your warm welcome on arriving at your club.
Very impressed with the facilities Jeff, you have done a fantastic job there mate. Thank all the other staff members for all their efforts in making us all feel very welcome.
Tell Mick his burger and chips were as nice as they normally are. Very nice hot food mate. Top notch!!!
Would like to wish you all the very best for the rest of the season. Your all a credit to your club.
take care all

Good to see you got back safe and sound. Thanks for the plaudits and you are all very welcome as always. Crackin' game for the neutral, talk about 100 mph. Thought both teams played well and gave everything - well done. Hope the rest of the season goes well and it's always good to get together with a club that has so many friends! All the best and keep cooking them burgers :-0
