Morning All, This saturday we entertain Blackstones at the Dog n Duck. They sit in 7th place in the league and will be a tough team to beat on saturday. If we can keep showing the resolve we showed second half on tuesday night, and be more ruthless infront of goal I see know reason why we can,t get a positive result against Blackstones. Lads are working hard and if we can just show some better passing and a little more composure on the ball, we can turn a good performance into wins which will enable us to move back up the league. Lets hope we can get a good turnout from the fans once again to cheer the lads on. Kevinb, don,t forget to say hello to the "burger monster" on your arrival mate, I don,t think I have had the privelage of saying hello to you, hoping to do that this saturday. Just look for the handsome guy at the burger hut with the women around him, I will be standing next to him in an apron!!!! ;D Look forward to seeing you all down at the Dog N duck this saturday. take care all, and have a safe journey over.

Haydn, sorry mate, looks likely I am going to have to stay at Lincoln Road to help entertain your Reserves tomorrow. It may change, in which case I will certainly just "follow my nose", right to your door, or hatch, whichever it may be! Perhaps we'll meet when we entertain Kings Lynn on Wed 16th Nov, hoping to have some burgers of our own that night and I know you "get about a bit", so who knows. Hope the game is as exciting as the one at Lincoln Road a few weeks back. Good bloke that Rob Gould, very honest it appears to me.

Thats a shame mate, I would certainly get some hot food in for the Kings Lynn game, as the Kings Lynn fans, they love their food. If I can i will try to get to that one as it is a wednesday. One point you need to be aware of Kev, Grissles from Kings Lynn likes "gluten free" burgers. Ok mate!!!!

Good result for us, but a nail biting finish at the end! Highlights should be up by Tuesday evening!

Good result for us, but a nail biting finish at the end! Highlights should be up by Tuesday evening! That is was Jack. We had to dig deep for that three points at the end. I don,t know which player threw his body on the line right at the end with a last ditch tackle to block the blackstones player's shot on goal from close range, but that was fantastic defending. delighted for the lads, they showed great battling qualities today and maybe should have been further in front first half, but give credit to Blackstones who came back at us second half, and I thought once they equalised we became a little nervous and were more cautious in our play. Even when we went 2-1 up we still looked a little cautious, but battled and worked very hard for the win. had a very pleasant chat with the Blackstones manager, great guy and wished us all the best for the rest of the season. As we do to them as well.

Only the second time I've seen Wellingborough this season, but what a vast improvement on the performance against Irchester last month, both teams fully commited this time. You were not surprisingly pretty peed off after the Irchy game Haydn! No complaints about players attitude this time I'm sure.

No complaints about players attitude this time I'm sure. mr frustrations after the Irchester game sg was not just about the irchester game, it was a build up of games leading up to that. Also we had our 300th game for the club, big occassion, lots of people down there to celebrate and "I" personally felt that the Irchy game we were bloody awfull, showed no passion and just didn,t work hard enough. The effort of the lads since that has been much better,( thats because of nothing Ive said or done. Thats down to Rob Nick craig and the players). Really pleased for the lads yesterday, worked hard and very pleased to get three points against Blackstones.

Haydn, sounds like I missed a good one. One or two of our people told me they thought it was a handball right at the death but I see you saw it as a great block. That's two good games between us this season and I think that we will both be in the "second league" of 3rd to 8th place.

Don,t know about the handball mate, can,t remember too many players going up about it, but it could have been the case kev, I see our guy just throw his body on the line, which was very brave I thought, and he managed to stop your lad from scoring. Two very close games mate, and after talking to your manager yesterday, very pleased to hear your lad has recovered from his injury after coming off hurt in your home game against us.
