We travel to Newport Pagnell tomorrow night for our next league game. Pagnell sit in fourth place in the league and although they lost 4-3 recently to St Ives, they have been in very good form of late.
We know we will have to battle hard, and be strong. They are a very good side.
We have had the weekend off, so hopefully our players have had a good rest and will be ready for the challenge tomorrow night.
We need to keep doing what we done against Buckby, working hard as a team, playing our good football, and lets hope we can get a good result tomorrow night.
Good luck to the lads.

Morning All,
Absolutely delighted for the boys after last nights 2-0 away win at Newport Pagnell. We had to start with 3 reserve team players in the starting line up and 3 more on the bench. Also our top goal scorer in Dan Surridge was required to play centre half alongside Dan Spaughton.
During the first half we created some very good chances as did Newport. They had a lot of players well over 6 foot plus and they won most balls in the air, and were very dangerous from set pieces and corners. Thought our lads done extremely well winning a lot of second balls to clear the danger.
Our boys played some neat and tidy football first half and created good chances ourselves, Jason Turner hit the post from a great bit of skill during the half, but the ball agonisingly rolled along the line but didn,t go in. The Newport keeper making some fine saves with his legs to stop our boys from scoring.
Newport also hit the post and likewise made our goal keeper Stu Plows made some vital saves.
We took the lead after about 33 mins, when the corner was cleared out to Ady Butler on the edge of the box, he controlled the ball and chipped the ball back over the goal keeper and defender which went into the top right hand corner of the goal. Great finish from the new lad.
Newport then had some more chances infront of goal, but with a combination of them missing, great defending and very good goal keeping we went in at half time 1-0 up.
After a very nice hot cup of coffee at half time the second half started and we carried on where we left off first half, (well both teams did to be honest) both sides having very good chances, midway through the second half our goal keeper pulled over a wonderfull finger tip save from one of the Newport Pagnell strikers, thought it was going in, but Stu Plows manged to keep the ball out with the save of the match.
After about 75 mins we then made it 2-0 when Jason Turner was played through on the right wing, he raced thru and slotted the ball under the advancing keeper, to which the "burger Monster" celebrated like a lunitic behind the goal. My apologises to Newport man Ernie Print who I was having a lovely chat to behind the goal for my celebrations, but for me that was a vital vital goal. Ernie was very complimetary towards our team and would like to thank him very much for his kind words to our team.
We managed to get the win, and so proud of every single one of the team. Goal Keeper Stu Plows, the back four of Luke Cray, Dan Spaughton, Dan Surridge and Tom Murfitt, midfield of Mark Redding, Nathon Heycock, Ady Butler and Ben Johnson, and forwards of Jason Turner and Tom Liversedge to a man were magnificent. Also well done to Phil Cassisdy and Jared Newman who also done their bit when they came on.
Well done to Rob and Nick for the efforts in getting the win which has given everybody at the club a huge lift.
Well done to our fans who travelled over once again in very good numbers on a very cold night, your support as always is brilliant.
Thought the game was played in great spirit last night by both sets of players, we have had a few niggly matches in the past, but I thought both teams played with passion and there wasn,t really to many bad challenges, and well done to both teams for all their efforts in making it a very fair game.
Would like to thank Darren Lynch who said well done to Rob after the game last night and wished us all the best, he was a top player on the pitch, and I have know doubt he will do very well as a manager, have a lot of time and respect for Darren.
Lastly many many thanks for Newport Pagnells hospitality, you all made us feel very welcome from Wellingborough, many thanks to Ernie Print for a lovely chat behind the goal and for the pint in the bar afterwards, and many thanks to all the Newport Pagnell guys at the bar who complimented on our performance last night. Very much appreciated.
All the very best to Newport Pagnell in their Vase game on saturday at home to Stanstead, lets hope you guys win that game and get through to the next round.
All the best to you all at Newport Pagnell.
Take care all.
