It all seems a bit bizarre over there in Northamptonshire. Whatever next?

jamesw: Bizarre? I have another word for it. Still think it is for the benefit of the few at the expense of the many

Being in the know on this subject.... I am recommending it closes for good and will place a link on the website to forward the punters onto UCL Chatter (You'll soon get sick of 'em!)

Well Jon Mac if you are so well in the know, perhaps you realise how many loyal supporters you have alienated with your actions. if you had any feelings for the club or the supporters you could at least have the decency to allow reports to be put onto the forum on a read basis only. The website idea is a bit of a joke, have you seen it recently. Not everybody is able to watch every match, some of us have commitments which makes it impossible to attend.

Personally, anyone thats acts ill-rationally as in this case, should scrap it all together. There's no respect shown to the loyal fans who contribute or enjoy it.
A big own goal for Doughboys
Poor administation of the forum is responsible for this, if its been 4 or 5 people who been causing the cr*p then they should be barred. Particularly the hate mail from over the fence.

"Particularly the hate mail from over the fence."
Care to elaborate or provide evidence of this? One might think that you are doing the very same thing with what you have typed.

oh come on don't play the mister innocence with me I've been watching for a long time and I know a lot of people in the right places, to know whats been going on here!
I also know I can't elaborate because it could used in slander if I got the information wrong is some way.

If you can name names, I'm happy to put the issue right. I'm sure that there are people who say daft things or have banter and wind up's but not to the degree that you are saying. I'm fairly sure that none of the nasty things have come from any of the management team or the players as most of them know the current management team at WTFC. Persoanlly, I wish the Welly team well as I know it takes some time to build a team. As for the hatred, I really dont see it. WTFC have their problems, let them get on with sorting it.

Sorry Newby, as it as already been pointed out to me when I signed up on here I must not use slanderous material as well as the expletives. If you believe that its just banter and not hatred then I will except that as a fair response. But it still remains that some of the stuff as gone beyond acceptability, thats all. I merely pointed out with regards to WTFC forum, its only a few who have caused the trouble and some of the finger pointing is directed over the fence.

Rosyjim, I totally accept what you're saying. It won't be long before the same thing happens on the Whitworths forum. But, please don't judge everyone the same. It might have been the odd barbed comment from over the fence, it happens, and I can't deny it, but that doesn't make them all to blame. Many of the items that I read were from WTFC supporters, unhappy at their lot, given the results, financial situation, lack of players etc.
I really dont get the jealousy thing. I wish both clubs well.
