Due to the tragic loss of Danny, as a mark of respect our game away at Cogenhoe tonight as been postponed.
I would just like to say that Danny was a wonderfull person who was very dedicated to everything he done. He was a lovely person to speak to and he will be very sadly missed.
My thoughts are with his family and close friends.

Thats terrible news Haydn, what happened to Danny. He will be a loss to the UCL and having played with him many moons ago all I can say is he is a lovely character full of good spirit, RIP Danny.

As stated here Cogenhoe's game v Wellingborough has been postponed as a mark of respect to Danny Liquorish who sadly passed away today.
Please visit Cogenhoe United's web site and feel free to post your own tributes on our forum, we will record these and pass on to Danny's family and loved ones.
The UCL were exceedingly sympathetic in responding to the request to postpone the match, a fitting tribute to a true gentleman of football.
Football is a wonderful family at time like this, whilst accepting that this news would be coming, it is a terrible shock none the less when received.

As another mark of respect for the much liked Danny Liquorish will there be a minutes silence or applause before ALL Prem games this saturday.
I hope so.

On behalf of Desborough Town may I pass on our sympathies to Danny's family and all at Cogenhoe. We will have a minute's silence before our game this weekend at the Waterworks as a mark of respect.

Difficult to add more than the above comments, except to say that football in Northamptonshire will be the poorer for the passing of a truly great, all-round character.
