Two months ago Whitworths had the league title in sight now they are struggling to finish in the top 4 and losing experienced players. Whats gone wrong??Anybody know?? Budget gone??Or the pessure of being the poor relations of Wellingborough taken its toll??

They have dropped off in recent weeks, though they were always in a bit of a false position having played far more games than any of their rivals. Lost a couple of players recently as well. Im sure their be there or there abouts next year.

I dont think there is a budget at Whitworths.
The strange thing is they sacked the manager for under achieving last season and they finished 2nd!

I am reasonably certain there is/was a budget at Whitworths and a decent one at that, also the manager left due to work commitments and was not sacked. Although he popped up at Higham a few weeks later.

I state again there is no budget at Whitworths. I have a family member who plays for them and is one of the better players. He doesnt get a penny.
I think you will also find that the manager did not leave of his own free will.

I have a family member who plays for them and is one of the better players. I'm sure he was/is a top player, but he was better at Cogenhoe!!

No wonder their few supporters are downhearted.
