thanks lads, Ive neverheard any of them before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I've been saddled with all this all my life, goes over my head, but if it keeps you happy so be it. having a name like mick or mike dosn't do me any favours with last name hunt. But the guest who says I do things behind the scenes is absolutley right. Gary Ling picks the team, I fill the forms in. My real job at the club is u18 manager

well done to M.Hunt for answering some of the views of the sceptics. no matter what has happened behind closed doors in the huntingdon political culdron, the manager, players and the like should be judged on results. im not saying gary ling is great, far from it but i dont suppose anyone has any stats to show whether his managerial skills have bludgeoned more points per game than Andi Rossi and that manager who left early in the season. is there an improvement? huntingdon are going to town off the park but are sometimes pitch poor on it. we all know that people are judged on results, the fact that he won manager of the month with a team floating in the lower parts of table makes his achievment slightly more shining.

in answer to your question alceste. Andy Rossi's last 8 league matches last season P8 W2 D1 L5 F10 A 17 Pts 7 Gary Ling's last 8 league matches are P8 W5 D1 L2 F10 A 4 Pts 16 Over the season Andy's team finished on 43 Points and 14th position with 2 games to go (Irchester and Burton both away) Gary's team has 38 points and 14th position so 44 points is possible and perhaps 11th or 12th in the league depending on other results

Good day for Town yesterday, Gary Ling resigns after the game, Bassy does another runner and misses the trip to Burton, and the committee member on bar duty at the home reserve match is telling everyone that the new manager is already in place. What a shambles.
