any thoughts on the new manager at northern star is as mel landin left last week

I think its hard for clubs who dont have floodlights in Division one to attract players. If the FA impose lights in the 2007-2008 season at step 6 then clubs will need funding in place and lights up April / May next year. Without them players will be playing just next season in the UCL... then what. Some will consider playing in the prem of Step 7 leagues better than a season in the UCL. Have a feeling thats the case in the Peterborough league.

Its a catch 22 situation. Everyone wants clubs to improve thier facilties but at what cost? Next season could see a 1st Division with about 10 teams!

My personal opinion is that PNS are a club in limbo without anywhere to go.
It's a shame they couldn't have stayed in Eye and developed the ground there. Some floodlights and a changing room would have been handy.
Chestnut Avenue is being sold off by Peterborough Council to either Northants FA (dunno why?) of Peterboro Lions rugby club.
