Congratualtions to Raunds Res for smashing Whitworths into the ground in the semis to go through to the final against either Olney or Sileby.
The last time they got this far was 1994
Does anyone know when and where the final will be played? If it's a half way neutral Prem ground, I imagine it'll be at Cogenhoe (whichever team wins the other semi).

A well fought battle between the two Northamptonshire sides saw the game get more and more intense. Although piling on the pressure in the first half, Raunds could not crack the Sileby defence, and a few minutes before the interval Sileby scored on the break.
The second half was more equal, with Sileby finding constructed attacking moves easier to play. It was Raunds who scored next however, in a well deserved, if not irregular goal, which saw the Raunds pressure pay off when the Sileby 'keeper kicked the ball against Gary McCourtey enabling a follow up of an easy shot on an open goal.
At this point, both teams pressed on, each believing they could win. It was only a matter of time before a goal went in, and it came courtesy of a goalkeeping positional error, along with a well executed header 25 minutes from time... It was to be Northampton Sileby Rangers's day.
Sileby 2-1 Raunds Att: 184
